Sentinal Gaming In the earlier future, she did knock on his door at this time. The only difference is that there was no clock in the earlier time to delay him from entering his basement lab, so he didn’t hear her knock.
It sort of doesn't make sense though, in one aspect. The characters claim to be immune to future assassins when they go back in time; that when another Tim follows them back from the future, he opens up a new timeline that they're not in. But it has the same problem as quantum immortality. It operates under the rules that that Tim comes back into a version of the current timeline that the ‘originals’ are now immune to, but also that that Tim would enter a timeline with copies of those originals in it. Though, this is just going off what the original killer Tim says, and maybe he was just naively misinformed. Based on a first watching, oherwise it's a tidy series of events.
for those who don't get it that one Tim threw the clock onto that spot to cause the original Tim to notice it and pause there just long enough to hear the knock at the door, a brilliant piece of fourth dimensional thinking
I don't think it was foreknowledge that caused that one Tim (TOT) to throw the clock at Murder Tim (MT). If TOT had known Holly knocked at that specific time, then he would've answered already, causing Holly and him to enable a relationship, disconnecting him from the chaotic timeloop that we saw. It was most likely caused by the "cosmic mechanism" to remove duplicates mentioned by MT at 22:31. Not only did it cause MT to trip and shoot himself, it was probably the mechanism that allowed the coincidence of the clock being placed to prevent the timeloop that allows for more duplicates.

Again, I do very much agree with you and others who have experienced similar experiences in regard to this short film.
Thank you very much to everyone involved with it and everyone who has expressed a level of appreciation for "TRIPLE TIMe".
I love how ever thing played out to the clock on the floor and all the tims doing there part to fix the timeline. I really enjoyed the ending cuz I thought another to was going to show up but nun did. This was really AWESOME

Nice, really enjoyed this! Liked the story, liked the way you established "This is the way time works in this reality".
Bruce Carter Thrilled to hear it! Thank you for taking the time to leave your kind comments.
That's what Im talking about. Well done.
It was time itself that saved him.. nice touch :)
Thank you! ☺️
this is probably the only time travel short i enjoy , and yes i call it a film because it should be one
edit: i traveled back in time to correct it from film to short
edit 2: i traveled back in time to correct my typo from my past . or the future? i do not know
edit 3: i found out that technically it was in the now i corrected my self
edit 4: how do i close this cycle? i am paranoid i am gonna disappear somehow , the slide always has an end , no matter how long
edit 5: this is the end , my time has co#
edit6: when did i type all of these? and who am i subscribed to with notifications , anyways thank you very much for the heart
So probably future us always come back from the future but somehow destroy themselves leaving us with unexplained clues (like the watch on the floor).. good to know
It also explains the missing socks from the dryer.
I need a sequel. The 2nd could be about the multiverse.
Giovanni Giovanni. I like it!
Theatrical production. Bravo!!!
I haven't had that problem with my time machine.
Perfect. No one could have made this a better movie. Looking forward to your next one.
ONE MAN ARMY oma015 You’re too kind! Can’t wait to share my next film with you! Thanks!!
Great job!
Liam Fountain Thank you, sir! Much appreciated. 🙏🏼
24:01 A difference of one second (just by looking at the clock) can make the story take a sharp turn.
He stared at the clock lying on the floor, so he didn't immediately enter the room and enter the time machine, a few seconds later someone knocked on the door. And in the end he canceled using his time machine.
Really good.. The best time travel short film I have seen.
Bryant Harrell Such high praise! I really appreciate it!!
Really an enjoyable movie. And I'm very picky when it comes to time travel and or real time space. Thanks to the efforts by all
Thrilled to hear it! So kind of you to say. Thank you!
"That was a lousy shot, I could have done better." I see What you did there lol. it was a complicated shot, an ambitious move with testicular heft.
plus, I know you were the one shooting everything the whole time lol, jokes.
Silus Reed Haha. Thanks! That’s one of my favorite lines. Cheers, bud!
That was exciting and unexpected and absolutely adorable in the end. Loved it. Thank you!
GroovyGirl1990 Wonderful to hear it! You’re very welcome. Thank you for your lovely comments!
I knew that rug was up to something
Robert livingstone Haha! Good eye.
Just watched a few minutes, the editing is amazing!
Thanks, James! Hopefully, you stayed till the end and enjoyed the film as a whole as well.
@@trevorama Well done man! He gave up time travel for the girl! Is there a behind the scenes, making of video?
@@drsjamesserra Thank you, sir! Sadly, no BTS on this one. It was made on a shoestring budget ($4,000) and every hand we had was being utilized.
@@trevorama I loved it!
you can *_time travel_* but you have IKEA furniture? we need to talk...
I'm late to the game but this video deserves so much more recognition! Genius stuff. I don't know if you have more content, but I'm looking! Thanks for the interesting video!
Thank you, Nicole! I really appreciate the feedback. There are a couple other shorts on my channel and another coming in a few days, so stay tuned!
@@trevorama I'll be watching! Subscribed and notifications on. Can't wait!
Sarah Hester = modern day Sam Fox. She hot.
Im glad the original got to continue on his timeline.
Me too!
hold on, did Holy come from the future to prevent him to invent time travel?
Cris O No she would have been there in the original timeline as well. But in the original timeline there was no clock on the floor to delay him from going into his basement lab, so he wouldn’t have heard her knock.
Einstein said that travelling BACK in time is NOT and NEVER will be possible, but forward is a ‘possibility’
