Mr Senate President, the fact is that you talk carelessly. Just put on some level of humility bearing in mind that one day you will leave that office.
Your avoidable error:
Natasha has already apologized to you before you made that unfortunate statement. If you were calm and sensitive, there would be no need to have made the statement because Natasha said you should pardon her.
To the night club analogy, again this cannot be correct going by your interpretation to it. I have seen clubs where no voices can ever be louder than the music Sir. So you are just doing damage control here.
Even as you made this apology, you committed another error by saying those who couldn't pass Senate screening were also involved in the reactions. What is the relationship between Senate screening and reaction to an obvious careless talk from you Sir?

Mr. Akpabio, what you are doing is gaslighting because You are wrong, and you should apologize without making any further comments, let me remind you that millions of people around the world watched that session and I am one of them and I saw when Senator Kingibe was presenting her motion in a very soft and respectful manner but you ridiculed her and that was how Senator Natasha stood up in defense of Senator Kingibe. Do not try to justify your rudeness with explanations of what you meant to say because it does not fly with many Nigerians, you were rude, period and you need to tender a sincere apology to both Senators.
