Its cursed but not a bad idea to wear swimming shoes or sock if you have nothing else when you go for a dip in nature especially when you have a rocky shore. Cuts on your feet can get you nasty infections out there and possibly reducing your ability to move around if not totally immobilize if left untreated, serious risk of death in a true survival situation.
