Firstly single bond , then double bond, again single bond then double bond and so on... Firstly calculate the C-H bond (6 bonds, right?) then calculate C-C bond { in single bond there's only 1 sigma bond and no pi bond , right? And in double bond , there's 1 sigma bond and 1 pi bond } So , suppose we've firstly single bond so 1 sigma bond! Secondly, double bond so 1 sigma bond and 1 pi bond Then single bond again so again 1 sigma bond and no pi bond Then double bond , 1 sigma bond and 1 pi bond Then single bond, so 1 sigma bond and no pi bond Then double bond, so 1 sigma bond and 1 pi bond Calculate total no. But for structure of benzene its has totally 12atoms hence there sigma bonds would be 12 but according to you no of sigma bonds = 12-1=11
it only works for chained compounds not ring😊
