I’m going to make a few of these “___ restoration in ten minutes!” Videos with some of our cooler projects we did in the past. Hope you guys like them! Don’t worry we are still going to have videos of new projects like normal every Sunday but for these Wednesday uploads I really want to showcase the cool stuff our channel has been doing. Thanks for watching!
That brings back memories! Important! I believe you are missing air scoops on the side, right behind the seat, that direct air over the cylinder. The motor is hidden behind the seat and doesn't get a lot of air without them. A childhood buddy took his off and promptly overheated the motor enough to seize it. There should also be wrist straps to keep your hands on the wheel if you flip over, unless those weren't added until later model years...
Love the odyssey, wish Honda still made it. When I was a teenager in 1981, a friend had a fl250 with roll cage and five point harness. We took it out to a pasture and took turns rolling it. Get up to speed, crank the wheel and gun it. Thing would flip like a pancake. Thing was tough, didn't do a thing to it, plus was fun as hell.
That piston was nothing compared to my old 5 hp Briggs it had a huge chunk of metal ripped off of it and it was scored very bad the cylinder was fine though idk how
Yeah they are. My first Kart was a little 5 horse Briggs on a ThunderKart. I remember the engine throwing a rod with no other damage in the case a few miles from the house (about age 14, circa 1997). My father ordered the parts and made me rebuild it. I think it was slapped together in an hour including the at home hone job. That only last about 3 months before it threw another rod but this time it took a HUGE chunk out of the crankcase. 18 months later my father bought a Honda 300 and that solved all the reliability issues. Honestly, looking back the damage is more than likely my fault. I beat the snot out of that thing and probably didn't do a very good job at maintenance.

Hey on the turbo go Cart put the carb before the turbo instead of after the turbo it would open up and run a lot faster but only one carb
It’s beautiful, you guys did great work.
That first start after a long project is SO rewarding

Hey, you’re crazy! Glad you lived this long haha
No wonder everyone I find the cage is bent lol
That thing rips! Very cool, turned out great!
Really nice restoration build I like it. It runs pretty good from what I could hear except its a tad bit rich up top.

gokartbuilder That’s crazy, yeah old Briggs are good at self destructing lol
With some work to the cylinder and a new piston it can run again

how much did it cost you?, ´cause there´s a guy offerring one for me at 700 USD, is that a lot? or it´s almost a gift ? XD
At least restore it in the correct color. '79s were yellow.
Muito mal filmado. Faltou projeto , iluminação e microfones, pois o áudio está péssimo. Uma pena.
That's a honda pilot
No, its an Odyssey FL250. Pilots were FL400's with a bigger engine and full suspension, similar to the Odyssey FL350's.
Is ain’t even a Honda and it’s called the original Honda Oddysey
I'll say what ever I want !!!! Stop me.....Come on. ....Do it....
I'll stop you
