After committing an act of sabotage against the Nazis, Vincent Van Der Lyn (Henreid) escapes from the Netherlands to neutral Portugal, where he enlists in the underground resistance under the leadership of Ricardo Quintanilla (Greenstreet). Tasked by Quitanilla with uncovering a traitor, Vincent soon finds himself being fitted for a frame while falling for the secretive Irene. And the Nazis are closing in...

Just saw the entire movie on TCM. All those great people from Casablanca with another great Max Steiner score. However I kept looking for Bogart to walk around every corner.

Hedy and Peter knew each other from one of their early German films they worked on when she was a teen. But Hedy dated taller men since she was 5' 7". Her father was 6' 4".
