The key is what he said at the very end. She knew that Booth and her son were up to no good. She could have prevented it by going to the authorities. Game-Set-Match.

Could have prevented it? And yet when they finally caught up with her son after 2 years the North and south couldn’t figure out if he was guilty or not so they set him free? This whole thing is a three ring circle and this video is a joke!

...She might not have known the finer details, but she knew enough of what her fellow conspirators were planning in order to allow it all to transpire... Johnson told it right, "She kept the nest that hatched the egg..."

It's amazing what God will allow to happen when one sets their mind and hearts to bring about Justice for all people. Not just the rich or privledged few. Without Explaination, it would seem unfair to a majority. Who are good people. Without the money or language that is required to make it to the well educated plantation owners ears of that time. And even of today's men of educated gods.

@Mèllissa Workman - In Mary Surratt's (and her deceased husband's) type of business, which was first keeping a tavern and then running a boarding house after that, I cannot see operating it from day to day and expecting to stay in business - without knowing something about the clientele you are serving, even if you want nothing to do with them or their actions! If you DO suspect something, or notice the type of people they know coming in and going out (especially after hours, which was the case with Mrs. Surratt's clientele) that could prove to be a detriment to you and your business, then you should at least have the right as an innkeeper to kindly ask them to take themselves and their business (whatever it may be) elsewhere! I'm sure this is exactly what her interrogators would have advised her to do initially before things went too far!

Listen it was a war happening. Much like now. Only here's some more revelations for you. Saint Faustina was a polish woman who had a vision. In her vision she saw the angel of rath wrestling with himself and took pity on him. Because she wanted to save the world as she did. And was told to make the rosary. Praying the Father and son. The station of the cross. Christian rath the soldier ordered to carry out the executions of Mary and the other men. Is the Angel of wrath (rath) referred to in her vision. The serrano Indian tribes second acting Chief name is Fraustino. My son's uncle. In which a great deal of prophecy here in San Bernardino.

My theory is that she was a middle-aged woman who was infatuated with Booth, one of the handsomest men in America. She got caught up in the adventure of the conspiracy, possibly believing that it would never really happen. She knew enough about the plot to make her an accessory. Booth probably had no interest in Marry and her daughter. Practically, all the people. including Weichman , were under Booth's charismatic spell. Mary Suratt, with the delivery of the guns to her tavern activity and her failure to warn authorities aided the plot. Because the war was over, the kidnapping plot was no longer necessary. She might have known the conspiracy had become more sinister. Mary's involvement probably was less than her son's involvement and imprisoning her was probably an attempt to draw him out. Because Mary was a Catholic, she faced a certain amount of prejudice. When Lewis Payne appeared at her house, Mary's deniability was shattered. It was unfair to try her in a military court and if, the country had not been in such a vengeful mood at the time, she probably would have received a prison sentence instead of a death sentence.

All caps emphasizes my point; She KNEW of the kidnap plot Right?) Louis Powell shows up at her boarding house Right? Atzerodt implicates her knowlege of the assassination plot IN WRITING! She was guilty of complicity at the very least!

Five years later, I can tell you that yes, he did say something to that effect. She didn't have a chance though. Lincoln suspended habeas corpus. If she was innocent, there was nothing she could do about it. That and they were tried by a military tribunal as opposed to a jury of their peers (this is your constitutional right. Killing the president does not automatically make it a military matter. It's still criminal and civilian court.) and that tribunal was out for blood. She very well could have been innocent, but what could she do? Even if there was a ton of evidence that proved her innocent, it wouldn't have mattered. That tribunal had made up their minds about their guilt before it even started. Barring whether or not they did it, what happened to them was unconstitutional and even criminals have constitutional rights.

This movie is Hollywood's attempt to exonerate her, but Mary and her deceased husband were former slave owners and southern sympathizers who dispised Lincoln. She was aware of and assisted her son, John, in his spying, for the south. She was also aware of the plot that Booth hatched because she told Lloyd, an unwitting accomplice, to have the shooting irons (guns) and whiskey ready because 3 men (3 specifically) were going to come for them. she then left Lloyd a package that contained French Field glasses, (binoculars). It was damning testimony from Lloyd and Weichman that sealed her fate. Whether it was life in prison or the death penalty, she deserved what was coming to her because of her complicity in the plot.

Really? The first General to die in the civil war was named Garnet. By the way, he is the one, who his friend gave credit for the drawing of the seal of California. Explaining that the woman goddess depicted is Minerva. The goddess of love and war. But beings that Washington was a Mason. And Solomon referred to wisdom as hers. In, she has hewned out her hedge of wisdom. Instead of protection. Mary was not allowed prayer at her hanging as the other men were. And yet she rests on the Mount of Olivet in the Forest Lawn cemetery. West Covina. Was you free on earth, shall be free in Heaven. The Father's will and Identity. The unknown God. Christian rath. Spelt wrath. 2 Workman brothers served the Vatican guard at the time John's abscounding. Our neighbors John White. First Assembly of God. Fontana California. For which I became a Missionette. Perhaps slavery's true identity lies within the executions itself. For which we all would benefit without it. One of Gods most dedicated promise. In example. Why else would the first Amendment state we will make no law concerning religion. Ect.? Which can not be realistic without the second Amendment. One day men will realize that Gods word is Law. That even the rich can not escape.

It was thought that by checking Mary Surratt's cell phone records it could be found out if she received any calls from Booth. Trouble is she used a burner phone that yields no information. She purchased the phone in the Confederate Supply Co. store in Washington DC. She purchased the phone from a clerk working in the store named Lucy Hale who just happened to know Booth personally. Mary remarked to Lucy Hale , "So you know Booth too" Lucy replied, " I sure do. He is a bum actor who does not want to work any more and he asked me to marry him because he expects me to support him. When Booth found out I had a steady job working in this store he immediately asked me to marry him" Plus that lousy bum Booth was in here yesterday trying to sell a book he just wrote entitled ' I killed Lincoln" People in the store said your book is crap. The President is alive and well. Booth replied, " Not for long!
