I have a Black DB2. I put a #300 filter on top of the nozzle (pushing down the 2k--4kHz a bit) and use the Zhulinniao Zhu Rythme tips (pulling up the 6kHz dip), plus the color matching NiceHCK CB-1 SPC cables, total cost is about $26 and I have myself a perfect fun set.
This set will be a second thought for beginners imo as the tuning from the Chu 2, Zero 2 or Gate will be much safer than this. Nonetheless, as you've said, this is one of the cheapest set to try out BA drivers that comes with good accessories and a anime waifu (surpassing KZ in this aspect at least lol). Btw this part 0:40 reminds me of how I spent the same amount of money buying eartips as I buy the Hexa heeeeeelp!!!
@@catadegen For me, the Hexa feels weird in the bass region as it has good rumble but almost no punch, resulting in snares and kicks suddenly got mud out and lose clarity (I'm fine with linear bass from something like the 7hz Zero) Other than that I appreciate the vocals and I'm fine with the treble region (currently using the CP100 on it)
try pentaconne coreir eartips or moondrop spring tips if you dont want treble scratch or bass bleeding the only issue with hexa with the spring strips is that the ear tip cant grip properly on the iem so use the large ones im fine with using the hexa for edm music since the bass has punch for me strangely its only on my left ear cause the ear cannal is smaller so if you want bass just find better eartips
1:17 could you please rate from hight to low in your opinion, with the price. I used chu and 7hz Zero, wanna know does wan'er better? rn i am using moondrop may
@@or1ginalxs They shine in different aspect imo, chu2 for technicality, zero2 for vocal, gate in between with better cable, never tried zero&wanner so won’t comment much,,, and I’m using may with a 3.5mm cable as well.
@@catadegen i am too using may with 3.5, in my opinion stock cable good via type-c, dac strange but anyways, but i think it's like 35-50% of full price and if there were "stock 3.5 cable" like in chu but better the price of may was low. Also could you tell me what cable to buy under 25 bucks? I am using may for all
I would wait until 11.11 for these kind of sets that are slightly more of a novelty than casual edc set.
great video

I bought the DB1 and loved it and using it for a few months so im thinking of going for the db2 even though i already have the hexa

@@kimiko1302 Yah iirc I tried to fix the weird imaging property /bass on hexa, but eventually gave up as well lol

vs wyvern Qing ?
@@AcenkGabut-wk3yw Never owned a pair of wyvern qing
Nice video, thank you :@ How narrow is the nozzle of these?
IIRC its just a normal size nozzle, just like other entry sets e.g. zero2, gate etc...
@@catadegen i see, it's so rare to find narrower ones that fits me😮💨🥵🧐

@@or1ginalxs For under 25 bucks, i'd just buy a pair of TE Gate, and slap that cable onto May and call it a day o/
Too late, I saw the VNDB page.
