Love how you grunged up those frames even more. The crayon really gave the impression of a hand tinted photo. I have some unusual watercolour paints in sheets called Peerless that have a long history and were originally designed to handtint photos

Halfway through your video which I’m loving. I know how much you love sanding. Have you seen the sanding sticks on Amazon? They look like match sticks with a sand paper end to get into those hard to reach places. 😊

This is some totally cool photo grunge, Toni. Really want to try thr alcohol ink with the varnish remover. I don’t have varnish remover, so which is a good second choice-alcohol, blending solution, or wait and get the remover? Are you using nail polish remover, for I’ve got plenty of that?I like the usage of the clear crackle with the vintage photo underneath. I’ll start with that one. The crayon on her suit is a nice finishing touch. I do like your idea of coming on Sunday, giving us a heads up should we want to play along. C U next time..
Yes my lovely it's just bog standard nail polish remover but you could use blending solution or isopropyl alcohol too

So, Piggles didn’t watch, but her sister, Tennyson, watched for the first time. She was mesmerized. I loved this project, had to stop partway through to order the portraits! I think I will hinge the cabinet card backs to the frames, grunge them up a little, and use that space to write the back story of the person or people in the photo. The actual cabinet card image will be worn and torn, dirty and grunged. Oh, now as I type, Piggles comes to pat her paw on the video screen! I guess I will have to play it again for her, lol! ❤ your creativity, Toni!

Have you used the artwork backs to match the photographers name on front of the frame?
No I haven't used the backs I'd rather use them for something else, but I don't think they match I just had a Quick Look and I can't find any that do ☺️

Thanks for the info. I'm pretty new to some of this. I have tons of stamps, thankfully (yay!) but can I ask what is the difference between inks & oxides? And why do you use Archival versus others? You seem to be the queen of inks!!!
Wait… why can’t we use the bar code. What is wrong with people. These are awesome. I have used the Tim holtz watercolor pencils over his photos. (I did put clear gesso on it first,) but they turned out so fun too
I honestly don't understand about the barcode apparently it was around until the 70's 🤷🏻♀️ and that's a great tip thank you so much lovely 🥰
When you started using the crayon I’m like NOOOOO. DONT DO IT! But it came out awesome. Have you used his black alcohol ink on anything? I so desperately want it to work for me but it always seems to come out purple no matter how I try to use it
I haven't no tbh I don't have his black ink but it's worth a try I do love an experiment sesh 😂
P.s what does Tim say? You do you -so if u want to use a barcode stamp then use it 😜 😊
