I've just found you a couple days ago. I fully understand your ambivalent feelings. You just sometimes have to take a day or two doing something "normal" and enjoyable amidst the grief. I list all 3 of my grandparents in a 5 month period, and then over the next few years I lost my ma-in-law, my mom, and then my pa-in-law. From September 29, 1999 until August 4, 2007 I lost those 6 important people in my life. My one grandmother was particularly hard as she was basically my last link with my father, who died while at work when I was 3½ years old. Then on losing my mother suddenly we (my sister & brothers) were the elders in our little family. Take time to mourn, help your hubby through his time of grief, and your children, but remember you must start getting back amongst the living and doing you.

Toni, I am so sorry your family has experienced this loss. Please pass along to your husband my sincere condolences as well. I lost my oldest daughter who was my best friend, travel buddy and the one who arranged all of the family events, vacations, holidays, parties, etc. She passed away from kidney failure due to diabetes last June at only 39 years old. The pain is still very present but everyday it becomes a bit easier to think of her and remember our happy, healthy times together. Also, getting back into my routine, my work and my crafting has been very therapeutic. I am really happy to see you bravely jump back into your wonderful artistic career as well. You mean so much to so many of us. Hugs.

Had to just add that I got a tool kit for my Tim Holtz glass mat delivered today having found it at a bargain price on Amazon. I got so excited when the long packet had an acetate window and a long acetate insert. Plenty of slide material there!
Yes, happy we have crafting therapy when we need it. These Specimen slides look so cute. I don't have washi tapes that are suited for this (only that 1 set from ECD with those letters but that would need a different theme than specimen I think) but I do have a cool ledger fabric tape from 49 and Market. Could that work too you think? Probably need to glue that one down because it's not permanent. Thank you for making my day a little bit better today by sharing this cool video!!!
I was going to use the big letter one too and there's a thin beige coloured one in the set that would work too But yes definitely the fabric tape would look so cool 👌🏼 thank you so much ☺️
