    Rest In Peace Kobe Bean Bryant and Gianna Bryant! Kobe was my inspiration! I would be dead already if he didn’t lure me into my basketball beginnings and many seasons from age 11 to 28. If only I was 6-8 inches taller, I would have been your opponent or teammate. At my height, the world just has too many point guards. I never stopped trying to get passed college basketball to the pros. If I had grownup in any European country, I easily would have made their pros! I am forever grateful for your inspiration and dominant determination to be the best you can be. When you learned Hakeem’s Texas Two Step, I figured it out shortly after I saw how it changed your game! I love Kobe and my life will never be the same without you. My heart is forever broken. I hope I can join you soon. May God watch over your family and keep you updated as you two sit together in the heavens! Rip 24/8 Kobe Bryant! Greatest of all time!!
    You and Shaq, would have won another 3-4 titles together if only you guys could have accepted your differences! Even so, 3 in a row and 4 finals appearances and 3 western conference finals appearances that came up short. This was the best Dynasty in NBA history. Tied with Jordan and Pippen. Maybe Lebron and Anthony Davis will be the third best dynamic duo. Lakers will won the 2020 championship in your name Kobe Bean Bryant. This is our closest opportunity to win it all!

    Kobe went through a lot to get to where he was. It was a beautiful journey, along the way he met a lot of people had a lot of fans, and one important person who helped him along that journey was his coach Phil Jackson. Thank you, God, for blessing Phil Jackson to come back to the Lakers team as their Coach and to help Kobe and the team to be Championships once again. Yes, Phil Jackson was the final piece to the puzzle, but God was the glue that held them together. Thank you, Jake German, for this beautiful Dynamic Duo Documentary of Kobe and Shaq. Thank you for capturing the essences of the team, thank you. Thank you, Phil Jackson, for accepting the job as Head Coach of the Lakers and bringing Kobe and Shaq together as teammates. Last but not least and first thank you God for blessing Kobe's dreams to become a reality, and also Shaq's. Thank you, Lord, for blessing Kobe and the Lakers to exemplified excellence in all their games and beginning Champions. The lakers were once a team of Champions, thank you God for blessing Kobe and Shaq to restore Lakers Nation back as a Nation of Champions. Thank you, God, for carrying them when they could walk and speaking for them when they could not speak for being the Glue that held them together and Coach Phil Jackson. Thank You.

      @bosskey7212 3 роки тому +1

      @@jakegerman7823 It was Malone's injury plus the fact that that team was an aging team minus Kobe who was entering his prime, Shaq was consistently out of shape and not practicing hard and eventually at season's end they just wore down. Alot of people blamed Kobe back then but really Kobe was the only decent option left on the team at that point because everyone else was playing either hurt or inconsistent. It didn't surprise me when Shaq saw immediate success in Miami because he showed up to camp there in shape having lost about 25 lbs and was motivated to win because he felt embarrassed and was re-focused. It took the Lakers a few years to right the ship but once they did Kobe won a few more titles before father time eventually caught up to him.

I agree tho by 04 that should been redemption team with GP & Malone. No excuses, team drama, kobes rape charges got in the way. Think by 05 team just wasn't the same anymore, other teams were emerging like the Heat, Pistons, Celtics, Main western contenders were the Spurs 99 previous year before lakers then again in 03, 05, 07.

Jordan , Pippen and Bulls would best down Kobe , Shaq and Lakers. You seen Jordan in basketball shape and Pippen did to Shaq and Penny in playoffs sweep 4-0. As great as Kobe was he ain't making up a 4-0 sweep. Sorry Kobe is great but Penny Hardaway was great too before he got hurt and he got hurt after Jordan beat that ass. Bulls beat Lakers 4-2 like most Bulls victims in the 90's only Pacets took them to 7 games.

    The 76ers had no chance of beating the Lakers. They were too small. Now however if you had somebody like maybe Hakeem Olajuwon Mutombo combo or glad you won Dennis Rodman combo or even had Patrick Ewing on that Philadelphia team they probably would have had a chance at winning. But their backcourt was simply too small can match up against Shaquille O'Neal and the rest of the Lakers. Because if you can even slow down Shaquille now the one-two punch of Shaq O'Neal and Kobe Bryant alone is going to kill you

    • @jakegerman7823
      @jakegerman7823  3 роки тому

      The 76ers did have Mutombo. Also, by that time Rodman was retired. Mutombo on the sixers was also better than Olajuwon at that time. Olajuwon had too large of a contract at $16M to go to the 76ers. Patrick Ewing was worse than Mutombo at that time as well. Ewing was also overpaid at $14M. The sixers could only afford one center and went with Mutombo (the best option). The 76ers also had two other 7 footers in Matt Geiger and Todd MacCulloch for when Mutombo was in foul trouble (not saying they can guard Shaq but they were big bodies). The 76ers might have been the most prepared team in the league to take on Shaq and calling them “small” is just wrong.

      @@jakegerman7823 listen buddy I know Dennis Rodman was retired and Mutombo was on the team. It is a what if scenario. On top of that if you was to put a sinner when a team like Patrick Ewing or Olajuwon then one of the other current centers and that meant one of the Philadelphia Sixers centers would it be there. That's reason why I pacifically put Mutombo as one of the possible combos to illustrate what big men would be there to stand up against Shaquille O'Neal. Use your common sense. Of course at that time Dennis Rodman was retired and Patrick Ewing was already past his prime to really compete against Shaquille O'Neal effectively. At that rate probably Hakeem Olajuwon probably would have been past his prime to to Really compete against your cable now effectively. Because towards the end of Hakeem Olajuwon career his numbers against Shack really suffered. So when I'm talking about one of these players I'm talking about these guys in their Primes

When in reality I'm not talkin about real life scenarios on Thomas fantasy scenarios without any of the other real world complications. For example Bugs Bunny and Donald Duck would be a All-Star combo cast in the cartoon. That would be the best combo of all time . But you and I both know that's not going to happen because those are from two different companies 110 brothers and the other is Disney.
