    Hey Linus!
    Im having a big problem I'm hoping you (or the community) can help me with and they are my INSANE microbubbles!!!
    I've done many soft tube builds but decided to go with 1/2" rigid copper for this build. Used jb marine weld for all the joints. Looks amazing and I just completed last night after over a month of waiting for parts and building. Using an alphacool vpp655t pump. Alphacool rad, aquacomputer Cuplex Kryos copper cpu block and matching aquacomputer kryographics pascal copper edition.
    For the build I made sure to clean everything thoroughly and performed 3 full flushes with straight distilled prior to boot which is when I noticed the problem.
    I let it run over night but turned the pump down to medium so that the bubbles wouldn't get sucked back in the loop. Checked it out today and was happy so turned it back up to full and there are so many again!
    There are so many that there's a small layar of foam on top.

    So I've been looking all over the place for a tutorial that shows what to do with the wiring of the fans, and have no luck. I'm getting a 360mm rad and plan to put it in push pull configuration (3 on each side), what do I do with the 6 leads? Should I get some splitters and hook it up to a fan controller? Or get a bunch of splitters and merge it into one and hook it up to the CPU fan header?

    This case is designed with airflow coming in through the bottom and out the top, Hot air rises. It is also really beneficial if your using heavy waterblocks for your graphics cards it's good because the weight wont put stress on the PCi slots.

    I definetely agree with you as far as getting fluid all over the place is conserned but that is an extremely rare case and usually happens if you do a slopy ass job , but even then if you select the correct type of fluid you can avoid a ton of problems that might be caused by leaks. I would suggest getting one that does not conduct electricity or even buy a volatile cooling liquid.

    Haha it's awesome watching this video as of today. I just happen to get my hands on a g1 guerrilla board which is very similar, and an i7 980. I plan to make it as best as the hardware allows and eventually adding really nice water cooling much like this but in a smaller spectrum to fit my case. I've seen this hardware in action and as of this day, with a GTX 980 with a water block (cpu is just enough to support it) this would still be a killer machine playing games at high settings. My hopes and intentions aren't set rediculously high, but I do plan for great 1080p quality gaming at around 60+ fps.

  • @MarioDragon
    @MarioDragon 11 років тому

    People don't usually watercool for lower temperatures alone, usually extreme overclocking or e-peen contests. Heck even aftermarket air cooling heatsinks aren't necessary for keeping a processor at a working temperature, but only if you have no interest in overclocking or if you don't have a lot of money to spend on a computer.

    @21:17....no its not the mounting of the block that's the issue, the main card in ANY sli config (or crossfire) ALWAYS produces more heat than the 2nd or 3rd. Nvidia pointed this out years ago. the reason for this is sli or crossfire configs only add's 35-75% more gpu power to a system for gaming than just one card. and the main card still does most of the work, so it will produce more heat.

    @LinusTechTips How did you mount the SSD's at the back?

    ok, thanks :)
    Aren't there some systems which run in oil (or some other liquid), like an aquarium?

    @matthew broadbent use distilled water and a kill coil. Colored fluid causes gunk to build up in the blocks. Distilled water keeps this from happening.
