Paulina and Daniela played Rock Band, but Alejandra (3 at then) was too little but would run around clapping for them. About a week after playing the game, Dany and Pau started lessons. 4 years later, when she was 6, Alejandra started bass lessons. They have 2 songs on Rock Band. When they attended the Berklee College of Music summer session in Boston in 2015 they were invited by Harmonix Studios for a tour and were gifted a Rock Band 4 console prior to it's public release. Along with a wooden Fender Stratocaster controller signed by the Harmonix team. Dany was 15, Pau 13, and Ale 10 at the time. They had released the EP "Escape the Mind" that April.
Even though Dany sings this song, it’s based on an experience Pau had, with a former friend who said she wanted Pau to hang out instead of going home to practice her music with her sisters. They topped it off by saying, “Your band’s never going to amount to anything,” so you can guess why they’re a *former* friend. Supposedly, Dany has to sing it because just thinking about the incident makes Pau too angry to deal with it.
The Warning is such a wonderful band. One of the best live bands I've ever seen. Animosity is super awesome live. Such a bummer that this song has been removed from their current concert setlists.
They became a rock band because of the game Rock Band, which they have spoken about numerous times. In fact they have 2 songs from their first EP, in Rock Band 4. I think those are Rivers Soul and Free Falling?
Every song they sing in a concert, EVERYONE sings every word!! They close with Evolve at every concert, have to say that is their definitive song!!!😊⚡️
Their interest in making rock music together began when their dad bought them the video game Rock Band by Harmonix. When they were in Boston in 2015, Harmonix invited them in to see and play their release of Rock Band 4, and surprised them when they saw their song "Free Falling" included in the release! "Survive" was later added as downloadable content.
This song is about a failed friendship of Pau with betrayal. TWA (The Warning Army) always say "don't piss off Pau or she will write a song about it!" They just released a collaboration with Band-Maid and just got back from Europe with spectacular appearances at Wacken Open Air and Pol'andRock. Today they released a new live recording of Hell You Call a Dream.
First video I found when a friend told me to check out The Warning, and I was hooked!! Saw them LIVE last year and going two times this year !!! I have heard S!CK on a Toronto radio station a few times, I live in upstate New York.

Others have mentioned them playing Animosity while they were playing at ShipRocked this spring. It’s a humerus story because of the line Mayday, Mayday this ship is going down considering the incident with the ship hitting the dock and receiving minor damage. The song uses a nautical reference to describe a failed relationship in a metaphorical way which seemed appropriate to the situation. It’s also funny bringing up Guitar Hero when the game Rock Band played a role in them even forming a band. You should also watch the OMV for Animosity as it’s pretty cool. It’s a web toon from the series The Grim Reaper and the band is actually animated into the video. I don’t know which is better…the OMV itself or the reaction video the band also did reacting to the premier. DPA/TW are such endearing young ladies and if you watch their vlogs and BTS stuff you’ll fall in love with them even more. For those of us in The Warning Army (TWA) that have done Meet & Greets with the band you’d likely be hard pressed to find anyone who didn’t describe their experience by affirming that they are the nicest, most humble and genuine rock stars to meet in person.
Yes. Animosity and Narcisista are both proof not to get on Pau's bad side. I might even add Burnout to that list, although it's not about anyone in particular.

Just to clarify they are not fairly new, they have been at this for over 10 years and had their first EP in 2015 and already have 4 full albums. Their definitive song has to be Evolve, as they have been closing their shows with this song since it came out in 2022. There is a fantastic live video of it from the MTV VMAs in 2023.
Today their concert closer is "Evolve" from their ERROR album 2022. From their latest album "Keep Me Fed", the track "Sick" is getting the most charting radio play, I believe it held #8 on the new rock charts for a week or two. I could be wrong. It charted none-the-less.
Not sure The Warning has a definitive song per se, but they end most of their concerts with "Evolve", and their reworked version of "Enter Sandman" is always popular. "Survive" will be right up there as well. "Martirio", however, might just be the one. The lyrics are written in their native language and musically it's a remarkably haunting song.
@@paulf4650 I doubt Evolve will be bumped from the closer for quite a while. It's pretty much expected by their fans and the last few shows of this run, Pau has invited to audience to scream along with her.
The Warning grew up with Rock Band, and once they went viral, the developers of Rock Band put two of their early songs into Rock Band IV!!! They were playing classical piano. Dad bought them the video game, and they decided they wanted to play rock. Soon they chose instruments (Ale chose bass a few years later, as she was three at the time Dany chose guitar at eight, and Pau chose drums at six). They literally were raised on rock! That *Enter Sandman* cover at 9, 12, and 14 now has 25.7 million hits on UA-cam! This band is addictive. I'm 69 and feel like I did obsessing with bands in the 1960s and '70s. GREAT rock revival.
Once you become part of The Warning Army, you are among family. Concerts are definitely fun as thousands of people sing along. Really fun when it's in Spanish. The audience finished Breathe for Pau (only time played at Pepsi Center) when she broke down in tears (it's a very personal song), and the audience nearly drowned her out singing it so loud. Playing live is their weapon of choice, and they are masters. Btw, I'm sure it's been mentioned, but they are veterans at this point. They look/are young, but they've been through the grinder for a decade. Heck, they've done 2 TED Talks. Awesome reaction as always!
I have heard about it and it is on the list to check out. There's just so many to get through and it's hard to figure out which one to do next sometimes
The glowing effects on the guitars you saw are probably the LED fret markers Dany and Ale have on their instruments. Its to help them see their frets in the dark.

Funny you mention the game Guitar Hero. The Warning has an original song from their younger years called Free Falling (i think) on the video game Rock Band
The Warning have been ending their shows with "Evolve" for the last few years. It is a fan favourite, amongst quite a few other songs, so I can see it staying in the setlist going forward. Judging from her reaction, your guest appeared to really enjoy the transition to half time for the chorus. That's my favourite part too. Great reaction, thank you. ❤✌🤘⚡🔥
"Evolve" is their definitive song. Thats their encore song that they finish the show with. Animosity is in my top 10 songs of theirs and I love it. Sadly it is no longer in their setlist as they are now promoting their newest album, Keep Me Fed.
@@AceofBadeReacts YOu'd be at a great show of theirs if they played 20! Most of the time its either 16 or 17 songs. I believe they should be playing 21-22 sets, 'cause most of there songs are only 3.5 minutes long.

THE WARNING AND THE RESURRECTION OF ROCK Since it's birth in the 1940's at the end of the second world war before it had a name a name that caught on like wild fire across the American landscape ROCK AND ROLL was called by many names, names like Ni**er music and Black music mainly because it was derived from the Blues, Swing and to some extent Jazz. The name Rock and Roll has been around even before Cleveland disc jockey Alan Freed, who introduced the phrase “rock ’n’ roll” on mainstream radio in the early 1950s. The name derives from the more literal "rocking and rolling", a phrase used by 17th-century sailors to describe the motion of a ship on the sea. Any phrase that is used to suggest rhythmic movement of this sort - particularly by lonely seamen - runs the risk of being purloined as an euphemism. By the 1920s, the phrase had become a popular metaphor for dancing or sex, and Trixie Smith's 1922 blues ballad, “My Man Rocks Me (With One Steady Roll)” may be the first use of the phrase in song. When Alan Freed coined this phrase to describe what this new mixture of Blues, Swing, Jazz with a little Black Gospel the name seemed to fit. Especially when Elvis Aaron Presley came on the scene in 1954. Elvis was the driving force behind the popularization of rock and roll which propelled the careers of others like Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Jiles Perry "J.P." Richardson Jr. aka The Big Bopper, Buddy Holly, Richard Valens and other music legedns of Rock and Roll. By the 1960's and after the plane crashed that killed The Big Bopper, Buddy Holly and Richard Valens fans and the press had declared that music dies in that plane crash. For a few years it seemed this was true, sure there were acts around, but none had the impact as The Big Bopper, Buddy Holly and Richard Valens did. But then in 1964 four young lads from Liverpool, England by the names of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr collectively know as the Beatles invaded America and acquired the nickname "the Fab Four". The Beatles was the shot in the arm Rock and Roll needed at the time and these young men it seemed to inspire other young men to follow in their footsteps. Soon after the ariva; of the Fab Four other British pop and rock groups such as The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Kinks, The Zombies, Small Faces, The Dave Clark Five, The Spencer Davis Group, Herman's Hermits, The Hollies, The Animals, Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Searchers, The Yardbirds, Them, and Manfred Mann, as well as solo singers such as Dusty Springfield, Cilla Black, Petula Clark, Tom Jones, and Donovan. Those these band produced some great songs none of them had the impact as The Beatles had on both the music scene and teen culture. In their heyday The Beatles have had the most number one hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with 20 songs, a record they've held since 1965. But as they say all good things must end and by the end of 1970 The Beatles reign had ended and a new era had dawn with the birth of Hard Rock, Glam Rock, Country Rock, Heavy Metal, Punk and Disco. Though some notable act that came to the forefront like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Cream, Blind Faith, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Queen, Alice Cooper and Kiss. These band were exceptional, but their impact on both the music scene and teen culture was not on par with what The Beatles had done. Though some of these bands did carry on into the 1980's and made some good music they still did make a significant impact. Because they had to now contend with bands like Blondie, The Ramones, The Police, Bon Jovi, Warrant, Motley Crew, Poison, Gun & Roses and other bands. None of the bands that came in the 1980's had the impact that the FAB FOUR had had. By the 1990's it had seemed that once again Rock and Roll was fading into obscurity. Sure some of these acts survived in the 1990's but the music scene was not taken over by Hip Hop and Rap acts. It had seemed that Rock as Rock & Roll had become know as was never gonna recover. Then in 2002 American Idol came along and started to get people inspired to be singers professionally. Then in 2010 The Voice of Holland, also known by its acronym TVOH, Dutch reality TV singing competition. A year later The Voice premiered on NBC on April 26, 2011. Now you could go on reality TV in hopes of becoming an over night sensation. Some of the singers did like Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jenifer Hudson, Javier Colon, Jermaine Paul, Cassadee Pope, Danielle Bradbery, Tessanne Chin, Josh Kaufman, Craig Wayne Boyd, Sawyer Fredericks, Jordan Smith, Alisan Porter, Sundance Head and Chris Blue. None of these artist had an impact as The Beatles had on both the music scene and teen culture. Taylor Swift has had some significate impact on both music scene and teen culture she has not made the impact The Beatles did. Now this is not a jab at Taylor or any of the artistes and bands I have mentioned. All I am doing is evaluating their impact on music scene and teen culture. I am sure the millions of Swifties would disagree with my evaluation, but they need to think about this has Taylor Swift made such an impact that causes young girls to go out and form bands? The answer is no and that is what The Beatles did they inspired others to create a band. In 2013 the Villarreal Vélez sisters: Daniela (guitar, lead and backing vocals, piano), Paulina (drums, lead and backing vocals, piano), and Alejandra (bass guitar, backing vocals, piano) formed rock band in Monterrey, Mexico. They gained recognition from their "Enter Sandman" video they made for family so their grandparents could see them play. The video was uploaded to UA-cam which went viral. In April 2015, the band appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. During this period the sisters raised funds, including a donation from DeGeneres and the Target Corporation, to attend a five-week training program at Berklee College of Music in the United States.
They also gave two presentations at the TEDx conference at the University of Nevada in 2016 and 2017. The band was known for practicing with the Rock Band video game series early in their history; designers returned the favor by including several songs by The Warning in the 2018 edition of the series. Those that have been following these young ladies since 2013 have watched these girls grow into very beautiful young women. Unlike other artists their fans treat these young women like family and not like other fans treat the bands and artists they follow. This because we have watched them grow up before our eyes. The Warning has many more years ahead of them and the music that will flow from these women will be amazing.
For their newer stuff look for Hell You Call A Dream live at Pepsi Center, Automatic Sun, S!ick, or anything live from their set at Pol'andRock or Wacken.
I personally don’t think TW has a definitive song…as they never write a bad song. It’s just all round extremely exciting and excellent music. Love this band!⚡️⚡️

It's funny ... this is not one of their better songs. Yet it's an awesome song. Their songwriting is so good and so deep even their worst songs are "hit song" level.
I don't know if better is the right word, but with as many songs as The Warning has, it's hard to rank some of them because of the quality of how they sound and how hard they hit
I'd have to go back and listen to what was said, but was it a Zune? If that's what it is, it's an mp3 player that Microsoft made to compete with the Ipod back in the 2000s. Since Zune isn't around anymore you can pretty much guess who won the mp3 market

Get dressed in black and mourn again
Fake funerals for all my friends
'Cause I can't let it go
No, I won't let it go
It's killing me again
I replay it in my head when I'm alone
I hope that you're alone now
It's not me, it's you
The one who never got a clue
Drown in your guilt
If karma doesn't hit you, then I will
You ask me how I've been
I paint a smile over my face and act like nothing's wrong
Your pity party's fake
And now I am reminded why I should've kept away
I hope to God you know
This smile is just for show
Get dressed in black and mourn again
Fake funerals for all my friends
'Cause I can't let it go
No, I won't let it go
It's killing me again
I replay it in my head when I'm alone
I hope that you're alone now
It's not me, it's you
The one who never got a clue
Drown in your guilt
If karma doesn't hit you, then I will
Mayday, mayday, this ship is going down
Lost inside my thoughts again
Living hollow to pretend
Mayday, mayday, this ship is going down
Bury the truth of the lie you created
Bury yourself and remember me when you're alone
Mayday, mayday, this ship is going down
It's killing me again
I replay it in my head when I'm alone
I hope that you're alone now
It's not me, it's you
The one who never got a clue
Drown in your guilt
If karma doesn't hit you, then I will
The moral of this song is don't anger Pau, or she will write a song about you.
Ending song is EVOLVE
⚡️The Warning ⚡️my favorite band. ⚡️⚡️🔥🔥🤘🤘
Enter in to the amazing world of the warning...
The Warning! ⚠️❣️❤️🔥⚡️
Evolve is their current final encore/closer. With the release of the new album a lot of awesome older songs are getting dropped to make room in the setlist.
Yeah that's pretty much what has to happen. The songs that get dropped are gone but never forgotten
Animosity de los grandes temas de The Warning de su album Error , en este tema muestran claramente su calidad y capacidad
They actually have 2 songs of their songs in Rock Band

Automatic Sun is coming soon
There is a great video of Six Feet Deep at Wacken concert festival. Dany's back was still hurting her but she does a Great Job... 🔥🔥🔥
@@RockMusic1959 I should probably check out some other concerts they've done soon, too
One of the best rock songs ever created!!!!
They are slowly becoming one of my favorites
Great reaction. Animosity should be brought back to their concerts. Evolve at the 2023 MTV video music awards should be next for her!
Since I did react to that video, I may circle back to Evolve with a different performance in the future. I don't know if people would like me reacting to a video I've already reacted to on here. Or maybe they would, I'm not really sure
The Warning Army will love it. Dont worry about that! 😂 However, so many good songs you dont need to repeat at first. That's for seasoned veterans 😂 😂😂
🤘🤘
Excellent reaction
🤘⚡️🤘
Ey amigo.
The Warning nos une.
THE WARNING AND THE RESURRECTION OF ROCK
Since it's birth in the 1940's at the end of the second world war before it had a name a name that caught on like wild fire across the American landscape ROCK AND ROLL was called by many names, names like Ni**er music and Black music mainly because it was derived from the Blues, Swing and to some extent Jazz.
Savage ...
I personally don’t think TW has a definitive song…as they never write a bad song. It’s just all round extremely exciting and excellent music. Love this band!⚡️⚡️
From what I have been reading, the overall consensus is Evolve
🤘🏻⚡️🔥
#Animosity
🤘☺️❤️
EVOLVE is the show closer... this concert has a good version, MTV VMAs 2023 performance of EVOLVE is epic and my favorite version... and a lot of my fellow fans would probably agree with that
Yeah the MTV one was a great one. I think that was my 2nd reaction for The Warning

That was a great video I reacted to
🔥🤘⚡️
Welcome back.. She just got "Warned" This was written by Pau after someone told her to come hang out, you're just wasting your time. This band stuff is stupid and is never going anywhere.. SHARKS & CONSUME ARE BRILLIANT.. My new favorites from their new Album "Keep me Fed". 🤘🎶+🌎✌️
Well I think everyone is glad she didn't listen to that person. I mean really, what's the point of negativity like that
Please react "Animosity live in teatro Metropolitan" - The Warning
I mean that's what this reaction was
TW 🤟
They have like 20 "definitive" songs. So amazingly they are not playing Animosity live anymore 😢
That's a good problem to have... too many good songs and a bew album you need to promote
#animosity
They started out playing rock band the video game the two oldest ones dI'd
It's funny ... this is not one of their better songs. Yet it's an awesome song. Their songwriting is so good and so deep even their worst songs are "hit song" level.
I don't know if better is the right word, but with as many songs as The Warning has, it's hard to rank some of them because of the quality of how they sound and how hard they hit
Have yiou not seen the latest video from Band Maid and the Warning? Yiu NEED to react to this. Its calked Show Them.
I haven't yet, but I'm planning on checking it out this week
I’m old, what the hell is a zoomed?
Kids
I'd have to go back and listen to what was said, but was it a Zune? If that's what it is, it's an mp3 player that Microsoft made to compete with the Ipod back in the 2000s. Since Zune isn't around anymore you can pretty much guess who won the mp3 market
