Blink twice if Camel Games is holding you hostage
turn riga into the march, from being march +national idea they will have 50% def after that you will be able to transfer the occupied forts to Riga so that the enemies besiege them much longe, well, Riga will also have more force limit and higher-quality units, since you will not annex it for a very long time
Video title should be “The mission Tree that legends are talking about.” Because you are legend good sir, not a nobody
Maybe he is secretly Odysseus

I've recently been playing a pretty simple mod, Chant of the Unknown where it takes all nations in 1444, removes them and puts in every tag that doesn't start in 1444. I haven't seen any videos about it yet and have been having a BLAST with the mod despite its simplicity, it makes for a really fun, zany game (I'm playing as the US and invading the Kingdom of Mann who owns half of GB). Only problem is the usual nations end up getting formed, northumberland made GB, berry made france, I think tunisia actually formed tunis but the whole campaign is cursed like that, had two HREs, three sicilies and two sardinias at one point, it's great.
You should do a video on it, it's great fun and I don't see... literally any coverage of it.
this sounds great I'll try it later
This path was my first run with new dlc(live in Estonia)
Riga is better as a vassal than as a province, if you help them down their mission tree they get free dev and a shit ton of province bonuses
If only the ai didn't delete buildings. It is so frustrating.
Scorch enemy provinces to increase their war exhaustion
Ah; Great Power AI. Does the right thing when it's against you; and eats rocks when fighting alongside you.
If you can't make the Holy Horde into Mongol Empire, you can turn it into the Roman Empire...
I'll do the geology of both Latvia and Estonia today, since the Livonian Order covers both. I promise this'll be a short post.
Most of Latvia is underlain by ancient intrusive igneous rocks-so, rocks that melted deep underground but never erupted out of a volcano, like granites and granodiorites-and metamorphic rocks, both metamorphised volcanic rocks and metamorphised sedimentary rocks. This includes a weird and cool rock called migmatite, which has alternating layers of metamorphic minerals and igneous minerals. All of this is well over a billion years old, some of it almost 2 billion years old. There's an age gap between these older rocks and the rocks that lie on top, which basically means that there was a period of erosion where everything was just eroded away before new rocks were deposited. The rocks above are volcanic rocks between 500 million and 1 billion years old, I'm not exactly sure when, and there's also a lot of shallow marine sedimentary rocks. Above that, younger than 500 million years old, is basically just a huge sequence of sedimentary rocks, mostly shallow marine and some tropical in origin, which means that Latvia used to be way closer to the equator. The last few million years had Latvia generally heavily glaciated, with the last few tens of thousand years leaving extensive evidence of the glaciers (in the forms of lakes, valleys, glacial rock deposits, etc.).
I don't know much about Estonia's ancient geology, but it's about the same age as Latvia's and due to the proximity I'd be willing to assume it's fairly similar. The sedimentary history of the last few hundred million years is also similar (lots of shallow marine rocks, some of them tropical), and the top was glaciated during the Ice Ages. There's also a handful of meteorite impact craters.
I'm doing Holy Horde into the Khaaaan achievement at the moment and it is definitely possible. I'm in 1580 and it's just a game of truce juggling, and AE management now
Maybe he though that you need culture shifting shenanigans for Ilkhanate/Yuan and didn't know that Crusader Teutons can just... press the button without any hassle
I would love to see crusaders to mogul empire
Great video man!
Since you are always covering missions and countries people already haven't, why not give Poland, without the Lithuania PU a shot?
whats the mod you are using to get those dope images in the events?
It's a little game-y but if you want to coerce the AI to peace out of a war they've definitely won just save and reload, they re-evaluate their priorities and tend to assess that taking a winning peace is better than continuing the war.
You should just always have an ally with you that has territory you can give away instead :P
@@Razzlion how does that help with having a completely separate power in a completely separate war not peacing out and preventing you from taking the land that you want after having already won the war?

I love the patrick batman channel!
TBH Livonia is really hard to play; not sure how or why.
Another quarbit banger

Hmm yes lore of eu4 1.34 Baltic Empire momentum 100
If you want an additional challenge for the already difficult Holy Horde>KHAAAAN! Run, form Germany before forming the mongol empire.
Tbh the reason hungary wasnt converting ruthenia is because they i think have the protected orthodox minority estate privilege at game start and tend to not remove it if they live
Nice
hungary was really hungary this ep

as long as age or origins doesnt have micro transaction i might be interested, but just by the promo it looks like a mobile piece of crap riddled with them.

Lol, how did you miss out on the fact that yes, they're regular privileges and yes you can just take them away. I mean, that was clearly stated in the dev diaries. And you know, you can just read the description too. Which is why you do NOT get that religious diplomacy privilege at the start and the first heir you pick is always the talented theologian. You can get rid of 2 privileges on day one.
chill out my man
