We were there in Jan 2021 in a Casitas swim up suite. Am sorry to say it was way overpriced 8 days $4500 total. The rooms were EXTREMELY DARK and very run down, but the showers were good. You are in a huge mangrove, blood sucking insects everywnere. The neighbors' AC broke and dripped all over their closet and clothes. Swim up pools were dirty and people came from other parts of the resort into our Casitas pool enclaves and got drunk and LOUD even though they weren't allowed. You had to walk everywhere in the huge resorts as shuttle service was spotty and super rushed. The food was nowhere near the great Mexican restaurants right down the street from me near Philly, No Contest. The beach is COMPLETELY unuseable due to massive hurricane 20 years ago that stripped the sandy beach down to the rock coral foundation. If price was $2500 it be 'ok'. Such a shame. We really wanted to like the place and the nice staff. But wont come back.
