This is a complete resort review of El Dorado Royale and El Dorado Casitas Royale. This review includes Casitas private pool swimup room, Royale Royal Suite, beach areas, pools, bars and restaurants. Hi Chris. I'm actually leaving this Friday for the Royale. Originally I was staying at the Seaside suites but changed it due to some hesitation. Did you have any issues with checking in, in terms of how long it took? This is my first international trip so I just want to have a great time. Did you like the food?

@@ktb3929 checkin is quick and easy. The food is fantastic, try all the restaurants. Use your concierge when you arrive to book restaurants.

I'm curious why you were hesitant about Seaside? We've been there 5 times as well and Loved it. Where are you flying from? I hope you have a fantastic time there.

Hi Chris how handicap accessible is this resort? I have an electric wheelchair. Do they have elevators? Thank you

The bulk of the resort is smooth paved walkways, many areas have ramps and there are elevators. Unfortunately there are several restaurants that have stairs, not all all but probably half of them. I'm not sure about accessible rooms in all areas of the resort. The fairly certain the 50's buildings have elevators. Casitas do not. Not certain about the other buildings. Check with your travel agent, they can reach out and contact the resort. If you don't have one let me know where you are and I can probably recommend. This is one of my favourite resorts and I'm certain you would have a wonderful vacation there.
