I remember playing this game along with MK I, And MK II, on the game gear as a young teen for a few good years, and just loving it for hours. This was long before the weight of the world crushed my spirit! Lol Still it is awesome feeling the nostalgia!
Wow I looked this up expecting it to be terrible but this is actually a very impressive port for the game gear. Good animations. Moves smoothly enough and it even has the intro images those weren’t even present on the megadrive and Super Nintendo versions.
I remember buying this game from a bookstore back in 1997. There were only 2 games left, Primal Rage and Devilish. I bought this one. I honestly didn't like it much but when I play it today I can say It is not that bad.
i have Killer Instinct and Primal Rage on Super Nintendo! i also have Killer Instinct on Gameboy and Primal Rage on Game Gear! you can see what i did there ;) too bad my game gear is going to crap :(
Diablo/Sauron was my favorites. Although I liked the whole cast. Specificalleh since Diablo/Was Spinal. And Sauron had a decent move pool/Long-Short range. :D -Chaos AI cheated like nobodies busniess. Blizzard you couldn't get away from. Talon was Riptor. Armadon *** * *** - Totally censoring myself here.
Lol. What's funny is when I was about 5-6 playing this in my game gear I thought it was badass. I didn't know the genesis version was do much more aesthetic until today!

I guess Probe got pretty good mileage out of their GG Mortal Kombat engine huh
The "game over" screen and no new character deblocked always shocked me... You could finish the game with all the characters, no reward.
