Cold chills and tears. Woohoo is this intense. This is by far the best live performance of any song in history period. Some might disagree. What you can not disagree on is the ride this takes you on. I wasn't there, but I was and Tool fans will understand. I can only imagine how they must feel performing this. This is a true masterpiece. I have enjoyed experiencing this with you all. It doesn't surprise me people resonate with these dudes .😂...i played this at a flea market on a killer onkyo...you could see the palpable energy come over people.. especially invincible live ..fear innoculum...rosetta stoned all live newer versions...
Agreed! I have seem them 6 times since 2014 and I've never heard them play 1 song from Undertow. Maybe it's because Adam became the bassist between albums (I've heard them play at least one from Lateralus every show)? Could also be that us tool-heads consider so many of their songs "hits" that it'd take a couple days of playing to hear all the ones we want... but... not one song from that entire album? Seems like there's probably a reason I just haven't bothered googling.
Really from 10:00 forward its off and Danny is behind by a beat. At 11:22 it totally falls apart and ruins the climax of the song. Happens again near the end. I have heard them play this song perfectly live though other times.
Man it really started to fall apart right at 11:22. Danny struggling to keep on time. The climax lost a lot of its impact because the timing was off. First time I’ve ever seen them drop the ball that badly live. Danny seemed to lose it a few times throughout this song

This is probably their most underrated song. It has some of Adam's best solo guitar work.
Maynard's voice is angelic, 59 years of age and his voice is sounding better than ever....chills everytime when the "SOUND THE DREAD ALARM" part hits.
