i always love it when people truly personalize their planners rather than doing a cookie cutter version of everyone else's planner. love the concept of your "learning log"
I've watched a lot of planning stuff recently. This is by far the best video I have seen re planning. It doesn't really need any embellishment - beyond what you want to do to make it pretty. But I look at this and think 'perfect'.
Wow, great video, love your set up. Love to see someone really making their planner their own. Picked up lots of tips I'm going to implement in my own planner. Would also love to see more about your card system.
Great use of your Filofax! It was very refreshing to see a functional binder without decorations and distractions. You have peaked my interest in how you placed the rings on your flex. Would love to see the side view and description on how you dis it. I also found great tips from your binder. Thank you!
I like your planner; it's very functional and doesn't need any decoration! I got some good ideas that I'm going to try out. Once you tidy up the page sizes and redo your laminated cards, you may find that's all you need to do to make the planner "pretty".
BlackStarBlues Thank you for your encouragement! I think you might be right - I don't have the space in there or the inclination to really go to town! I've done a few bits and pieces so might video an update this weekend.. I'd be intrigued to know what ideas you've tried and how they are working..
I like using index cards for tracking recurring events and tasks. It keeps the size and weight of the planner down to remove pages when they're not needed on a permanent basis. I haven't implemented it yet though. It would be great if you could do a video specifically on your index cards. I also want to start "Learning Logs" so I don't forget to keep my routines and such up-to-date. At the beginning of the year, I set up a pocket sized planner, but it inexplicably became quite bulky. I settled on compact size for the rest of the year, but next year I'll revisit my pocket diary using your video as inspiration.

It's nice to see someone using their planner to its protenial and not just filling it up with "pretty's"
Love some of your ideas, I'm subscribing.
tiny,so cute, even if it is not decorated,it is adorable.
One of the best ways to really use a planner that I have seen. It's charming and so very pretty. Thank you for the inspiration.
Thank you very much - makes me nostalgic for my DIY Fish inserts!

I just realized that you do not use dividers. So, do you just flip until you find the page you want?
what kind of card system are talking in the beginning of the video? could you show it?

Great video! I agree with previous comments, I'd love to know how you attached the rings in your flex. Would you mind sharing? :)

Are your pages 3.25" x 4.75"? They look slightly larger. Also, did your colored paper come with the lines or did you print the lines?
Loved your video!
