I cooked a prime rib roast the other day and I gotta say...
It was awesome!!! That was my first ever attempt at cooking prime rib, and I surprised myself!
    This oven is great!!!

I’ve had one for years but never used it until recently.
My first meal was a 5 pound chicken. I’m no chef but even so, by following the directions, it really was better than store bought!
Since then, I’ve made meatloaf, and brownies.
    All came out great!

My tip on cooking with this or any other device is to monitor the progress of your food, all cooking needs to be checked, you cannot turn your back on it until the timer sounds.

I just received mine and am doing the trial run as stated in the instructional oven. I am going to use it for my turkey on Thanksgiving. I have to make sure to buy a smaller one this year, ten pounds or less. I really hope this is a time saver!

He’s right… cooking should be fun, but everyday I come home from work tired and then I have to start prepping everything for dinner. I need to get myself one of these.
Update: got a used one yesterday for $50 off one of those classified ads site. Barely used and opened. Today I’m cooking my 2nd meal in it

Alicia Ryann Well, I don't know yet. My husband completely forgot to order it & bought me 2 pairs of pajamas on Christmas Eve because he had not done any shopping. He said he had so much on his mind & before he knew it, Christmas was here.... LOL, He can't remember what the "so much" was that he couldn't get off of his mind & he had a bit of a problem explaining how Christmas was the one thing that had escaped his mind. The strange thing is that this is all so ridiculous all I can do is laugh at it. He seems to be nervously waiting for it all to fall apart. That being said, I got some gift cards from my daughters & there is almost enough to buy one. So I will be buying one for myself & will let you know how it is. Also, a friend got one & she has done nothing but sing its praises

I bought one second-hand. It failed to come hit any temperature except 450. I checked and found out the potentiometer behind the temperature control knob was a cheap, sub-$1.00 component. I replaced it with one of the same value that cost me $12.00, is twice the size, solid quality. It solved that problem. Next, it would work but only up to around 350. I then found out the temperature sensor was fried, also. Another cheap electronic part. This I could not find anywhere so was stuck. China sells these sensors but wants an order for minimum of 1000 of them. Nobody else has any. So, I'm stuck with an elegant, solid boat anchor if I just fill it with cement and add a chain to it. Puck had a great idea, but not the knowledge of electronics parts quality that varies from absolute junk to great components, and is subject to trial and error, testing under extreme conditions, etc. He didn't know that. His people gave him a bad job, in other words, really bad inside that lovely box. No wonder people had trouble. A minor issue is the timer control that turns on if you over turn it past "off". So what, people sued him for that since it could start a fire. It's a damned shame, because this thing could've been a complete rave of all time, the food tastes amazing. He just gave up on it. No parts, no service, nothing left of it, after 2 and a half years of development effort, sunk by the cheapskates in the accounting office who controlled the engineering, again, happens all the time. Don't skimp on electronic components that control things, ever, is the lesson here.

Ah the poor humble potato that gets ignored in TV shows, it looks like an embarrassment to a chef to be seen cooking with the humble spud yet we all love our potatoes.

i've cooked for many years, so i did a 3# chuck roast on page 29 of the cook-book that came with the oven. i never burnt a beef roast so badly, and i fallowed the recipe step by step. Will this comment be taken down, because i noticed other people have said they will comment after it has been used, and there is no further messages.

Did you put it breast down for first 20 minutes or so? This is enough to crisp the skin then turn it over. Leave it breast up till cooked. Maybe drain off some fat when turning it over if too much.

ok, I know I have just stated this on 2 other clips. HOW DO YOU PREHEAT THE OVEN? I know my vision isn't what it is, and I don't read them correctly. I have had this thing three months and not used it until now. I was afraid to try it after I was dying to get it. $250 of collecting dust. I finally, finally tried putting in a pkg of cinnamon rolls and didn't put it in preheat first. I don't know what to do. They weren't cooked after 12 minutes, so I decided to wait a while longer. I didn't watch them like I should have, and burned them to a crisp. I had to scrap the bottom tray that I used and scrub it. I was mad at myself over that. I have to get a grip on this, as my regular oven has been broken for ages. Of course, this doesn't take the place of a microwave. I had to call about that when I first got it. I still didn't use it until now. I will call tomorrow. I feel like an idiot. I loved to cook, mainly bake. It isn't worth $250 if you can't figure it out fast.

Because they come out soggy. That’s if you can fit them in even with a small chicken not much room in pan.

bought one. not two years broke, no parts available. DO not buy this POS. You should review this oven before recommending it. It is a well made oven, but stops heating within 2 years, no parts available from manufacturer ( china)
