    So basically THIS is the pyrolysis machine you would REALLY want because it not only produces fuel from plastic but ALSO refines it to a point where you can actually USE it instead of having to refine it multiple times somewhere else in order for you to get the refined oil you need to use it in vehicles and other machines. A pyrolysis machine AND a refinery all in one !!!

      I know your comment is a year old but actually, depending on the system...water added to the system can be used to raise the relative atmospheric pressure enabling you to fractionate at a lower temperature which will use less fuel to heat the substrate plastics so dry initial feed is not necessarily a must.

      You'd be producing a huge amount of toxic smoke and carbon by burning, or 'oxydizing' the plastic. The pyrolytic process breaks down the chains of molecules into less toxic, useable material in an oxygen-free environment.

Will you try to build a much smaller machine like a freezer sized like machine for personal households ? Would be insteresting to scale this down, so people could put that in their homes in he basement and produce enough oil for their heatings from their plastic waste...or produce their own diesel oil for their cars...

    Very Good!!! Now, can you make a Seafaring version to cleanup the world's Oceans with? If you can there are huge islands of plastic waste out there in international waters just waiting to be claimed... Ships could even bypass the pumps and go straight for the plastic islands to refuel themselves which would be an even greater advantage for offshore manufacturing plants. I may be an American, but I say the first ones to develop this technology to its fullest potential desserves the lion's share in this great new frontier! Excellent work!!!

However, I found these way too expensive especially for developing countries where they can reallly make a difference. Not sure about their competitive advantage as far as business results goes. Ali Baba is full of Chinese companies offering modular Pyrolysis plants to customize to a business needs at a much discounted rate, especially since the pandemic when things really slowed down for them. Lets be clear, I don't have ANY stake in these Chinese companies and I was able to find a 2nd hand Chinese plant.

      @@krishkrish6166 Carbon black (subtypes are acetylene black, channel black, furnace black, lamp black and thermal black) is a material produced by the incomplete combustion of heavy petroleum products such as FCC tar, coal tar, or ethylene cracking tar. Carbon black is a form of paracrystalline carbon that has a high surface-area-to-volume ratio, albeit lower than that of activated carbon. It is dissimilar to soot in its much higher surface-area-to-volume ratio and significantly lower (negligible and non-bioavailable) polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) content. However, carbon black is widely used as a model compound for diesel soot for diesel oxidation experiments.[2] Carbon black is mainly used as a reinforcing filler in tires and other rubber products. In plastics, paints, and inks, carbon black is used as a color pigment.

      @@krishkrish6166 The ash is toxic....

  • @diyguy2383
    @diyguy2383 3 роки тому +1

    Im really thinking about trying to make a system like this. One question though. Is the "ash" that comes out toxic in any way?

    • @antibodyarmy
      @antibodyarmy 3 роки тому +2

      the "crude oil" produced depending on the plastics and any contaminates on the plastics will contain several carcinogenic hydrocarbon variants that are directly linked to cancer. the ash after the process can contain some amount of these hydrocarbons. the good news about this ash because it should be mostly carbon, can get reheated to remove the contaminates(like the trace hydrocarbons). then after cleaned run through plasma to produce graphene(its a little more complicated than just slapping it with plasma you might want to look into graphene). One plastic I keep seeing pop up in research papers that will produce these highly carcinogenic hydrocarbons is polystyrene.
      the main downside to this process is that if you aren't prepared or have the knowledge of how to separate, clean and isolate a chemical like a hydrocarbon chain. you will have a hard time cleaning up the crude oil from plastics, since a decent amount of them are unstable and will create a unstable fuel that will gum up a engine. If you try doing this I would suggest when you build your machine you use wood, or plant materials as pyrolysis medium to create the crude oil, this you will have a better time cleaning and turning into your fuel. we cleaned crude oil from wood/coal before we cleaned crude oils from the ground so the knowledge is there if you look for it.
      the basic version of this machine is a wood fuel burner connected to a closed loop distillery. make a wood gas machine, connect the output to a pipe that runs through a condenser with a catch container at the end. that basic machine if done right can have a gas output, and any output will most likely be contaminated with water and need dried.

    • @GreenmeResearch
      @GreenmeResearch  3 роки тому

      Depends on what you put in. If it's foodgrade then the output will be close to that

    how many kilowatts of electricity does this plant use to produce 1000L of oil?

    • @GreenmeResearch
      @GreenmeResearch  5 років тому +1

      About 5 litres of diesel/gas is required for start-up afterwards the reactor is being fed for 5 litres per hour from it's own produce.
      Remaining synthgas can be stored or used to power a 50KVA generator continuously.
      Overview of output
      55% diesel
      30% Naphta
      10% Gas (50% to the burner - 50% for a 50KVA generator)
      05% Biochar

Provides social limitations and barriers to prevent critical analysis and questioning of religious and political controls. This prevents natural selection based on open genetic transfer and ceases transformational development of humans as they evolve. In other words they are a "big full stop" with self-destructive tendencies !!!!!
