I've said it a million times about Tom Ford. I paid $550 for a 50 mL of Fucking Fabulous (I do have a store card), but I've never had anyone say it smells like money, unlike Amouage, Aaron Terence Hughes, and Chanel's Les Exclusifs. Anyway, really like that lipstick! Nice contrast with the white and chocolate/black
Really?? Ouch, that’s a bit painful. F Fabulous would still be on my favs of the brand but I can not commit to the price for it nowadays!

Best explanation and reasoning for not paying (newer) TF prices. I'm perfectly okay paying high $ amounts for fragrance. Last month, I spent $375 for Luban from Widean. (For me) worth every penny! Incredible smell, BIG intensity, lasts far longer than you'd ever need it too. Love your take...great vid.
Nice content , Clemance! I have tried Gucci Elixir and Vanilla sex. This elixir as all the designers are provocatively priced. It shares some sililarities with Amouage's Reflection man but the materials on gucci smell too cheap and not vibrant in contrast to Reflection Man. It is also priced at 170 Euros for 60ml which makes it completely worth purchasing. Also Tom Ford was known for revolutionary ideas and not material quality. Now there are no ideas and the prices have skyrocketed without any reason. So R.I.P Tom Ford !
Great video! I'm in agreement with you on Tom Ford VS. For me VS was very disappointing in terms of price and quality. I love previous releases, but TF isn't what it used to be. I love CHANEL Exclusifs and i've moved on to niche brands.

Vanilla Sex was a scrubber for me!!!! I was so disappointed, and I love vanilla fragrances. This one is hideous and for the price you would have to be insane. As always Clemence Great video!
On paper, GGE's similarity to Reflection was so obvious to me, I was stunned. 😳 Definitely not Le Male, but Reflection Man. Couldn't stop myself from giggling every time I smelled it. 🤭 And they give clone brands a hard time... 😬😆 I'm with you on the TF too Clemence!
I honestly don't like most designer perfumes, except of course Chanel. I think that all those perfumes have a kind of cheap smell and that today's designer perfumes are not what they used to be. Let's see, , I repeat Chanel 5, Miss Dior and many other great old perfumes. Of course, I don't underestimate any perfume, everyone who makes any perfume is a master and every honor to them. I know a lot of people don’t love the lipsticky scent but I love violet in perfume. I especially love Cuir de Russie by Jardin Retrouvé. It’s violet forward without being too powdery or sweet and the dry down is so nice and comfortable. MUCH better price than Tom Ford!
So smelt it in HARRODS yesterday- reminds me of Van cleef and arpels Bois Dore/ Bois d'Amande 😅 ... Vanilla powder by Matiere Premiere is better ❤

I enjoy the Gucci guilty edt & the absolue with the vetiver note. Ground breaking? No way, but not too bad. Tom Ford prices are insane, but I want to smell vanilla sex. Almond and vanilla are my favorite notes.
If they aren't clear about it, then it is most definitely synthetic. Vanilla absolute extracted from the pod is a flex.

Clemence, have you reviewed the Estee Lauder fragrances called Eden something and Tender light and so on? I absolutely love that range, specially Tender light, there's an old fashioned thing about them. I'd love your take on it.

I sell fragrance for a living and when we got the vanilla sex tester in, I sprayed it and laughed. Estée Lauder is definitely taking the piss!
To me Vanilla Sex is indeed crap! The marketing and the bottle gave me the impression it would be super creamy, milky cafee latte style, but it is terrible! Even I love almond and cnamon in fragrances and this is the extreme cheap version. It is so difficult to find the perfect milky coffee perfume! I tried Mancera Amore Caffe and it is so sweet, it gave me headache right away. Can you make a caffee latte perfume review? Would love to have your take on it. And never hesitate to say what you think. That is why we love you.
Gucci Guilty Elixir Pour Homme been one of my favourite and most worn fragrances lately. I love white floral notes in fragrances so this is a no brainer for me. It is a bit overpriced but for me the quality and performance is there, so i aint gonna complain.

So true concerning Tom Ford, it should cost like a designer release at this point, there is nothing extraordinary in Vanilla Sex, it’s just pleasant. And Gucci, all I can say is most of them are redundant, sorry Gucci. I don’t even get the hype of the Gorgeous line also, maybe on a major sale, but not for those prices they ask

Honestly, it wouldn’t bother me if you were critical of all of my top 10 fragrances of all time. I really enjoy listening to your videos. I haven’t smelled any of these, but I was never interested in them anyway.
