God and Jesus are real and good will overcome evil. 1 John 5: 19 We know that we are of God, and that the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. 1 John 2: 13 I am writing to you, fathers, because you know Him who has been from the beginning. I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I have written to you, children, because you know the Father. Luke 24: Luke 24: 44 Now He said to them, “These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.” 45 Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, 46 and He said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ would suffer and rise again from the dead the third day, 47 and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. 48 You are witnesses of these things. 49 And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” Jesus: John 14: 21 He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.” 22 Judas (not Iscariot) *said to Him, “Lord, what then has happened that You are going to disclose Yourself to us and not to the world?” 23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me. I have been fascinated by the music and culture of the Māori people since I was a child. My uncle travelled around Australia and New Zealand and when he returned he told me all about the indigenous people of NewZealand. I’m an old white lady from England who is still fascinated almost 60 years later. I really hope I can visit NZ before I die. I have nothing but respect and admiration for the people, history and culture of that beautiful country. 🇬🇧🇳🇿❤

After watching Moana a million times, I am IN LOVE with the music and dance of her culture (though I'm not entirely sure about exactly her origin). I've been digging for this loveliness all night and blasting it!
Listened to this on my PC, workmate asked what I was listening to, I explained to her a little bit about the Maori culture. I may not be Maori myself but I explained with my heart's intent and I believe that's the essence of Maori culture, being true to your own heart. I felt proud of myself and may have influenced her to look into it. - this is the mana of Maori.
Its 3:14 am in the morning, and I'm from India. I have heard Haka way before once. But I was just scrolling down when I got a suggestion from FB about the Haka Dance . Trust me it's only been few hours but im feeling that I have a deep connection with this culture. I just had a huge respect about the Maori warriors. When anything goes wrong in life I will be getting power from this chants. Thank you .

Maori are fierce AF. Cherokee war dance and chant is peaceful compared to this. Still, gotta have a lot of respect for Maori people. Much of the culture is preserved because of this. Wish I could say the same thing for Cherokee, because much of our culture has been Euro-washed. I’m thankful we still even have our language and dances.

@Justa Bloke Tribal warfare is in-equivalent to the genocide of 60 million natives and the gentrification, rape, and torture of many more. Tribal warfare doesn't impact anybody today, but the genocide and colonization of native land does. There is still racial inequality, which is why colonization is still talked about. You are _disgusting_ and objectively racist.
As a woman who is also mixed with Cherokee, unfortunately you are right. But I definitely want to keep the fight on and teach people in anyway I can. I've also noticed how North Native American cultures overall still gets overlooked sometimes. Except when we're talking about Thanksgiving. Anyway, have a great day and keep fighting the good fight!❤ 👊🏽
Maori culture and language always fascinated me.. I love it so much I even tried learning the language by myself but I'm making very slow progress:/ is there any way or good UA-cam tutorials where I could learn it? I also love new Zealand :) I hope to visit your amazing country one day :D
I love Maori culture! I was introduced to it through the book and movie "the whale rider" beautiful people and beautiful country, I also wish to visit one day! :)
There are online courses you can take although I'm not sure how they apply to people outside of New Zealand. A lot of resources online and there are some tutorials on youtube.
Best place to learn our native language (Te Reo) is to come here and be taught directly by a Kaumatua (Maori elder). No online course can provide better authenticity. Also it would be a brilliant experience, I assure you.
Andrew Luke bruh...same. Im kayan and sometimes the traditional parap from the elders sounds like this, and we do have genetic ties to the Polynesian adventurers. It may just be in our blood to love this.
Powerful manu ...felt in our blood of the world over, the Maori are guardians of this gentle powerful truth of human kind....... I see it in families of present to past from Nyree dawn porter obe "little white flower"...to the song hine a hine "darling girl darling girl" written Te Rangi Pai of the bloodline of maori princess who who also connected with the world as 18th century opera vienna singer...Fanny Rose Howie, also known by her stage name Te Rangi Pai, was a New Zealand singer and composer. Of Māori descent, she identified with the Ngāti Porou and Te Whānau-ā-Apanui iwi. She was born in Tokomaru Bay, New Zealand, on 11 January 1868, the daughter of Thomas William Porter and Herewaka Porourangi Potae. History repeats such a new zealand story to one day unpack...... the manu you brothers and sisters have ....... peace love and spirit of such intensity you are such a force of good presence of spirit ...such admiration from the warrior to the artist bloodline you shine.
She was actually a kid in this picture, I believe she said her age was somewhere between 12-14 years on one of her TiKToK videos, I randomly stumbled across it when watching Māori clips a couple of months ago. She’s in her 20’s now and this picture was being spread and used without her permission
German commander Erwin Rommel was even quoted as saying: "If I had to take hell, I would use the Australians to take it and the New Zealanders to hold it.

After watching Moana a million times, I am IN LOVE with the music and dance of her culture (though I'm not entirely sure about exactly her origin). I've been digging for this loveliness all night and blasting it!

Moana, the movie is a mixed of all Polynesian Islands. Most of them
Listened to this on my PC, workmate asked what I was listening to, I explained to her a little bit about the Maori culture.
I may not be Maori myself but I explained with my heart's intent and I believe that's the essence of Maori culture, being true to your own heart.
I felt proud of myself and may have influenced her to look into it. - this is the mana of Maori.
What are these words?
Can you write here?
Ka tika, kei a koe te tikanga, e hoa.
Ngā mihi.
From the heart bro you got this

i was born Brazilian in this life but im Maori at heart
Its 3:14 am in the morning, and I'm from India. I have heard Haka way before once. But I was just scrolling down when I got a suggestion from FB about the Haka Dance . Trust me it's only been few hours but im feeling that I have a deep connection with this culture. I just had a huge respect about the Maori warriors. When anything goes wrong in life I will be getting power from this chants. Thank you .
KUMARA is Sandskrit for sweet potato as is KUMARA for Maori. There are many language affinities perhaps you know what to make of it? I’m Maori I found connection to you.
I feel the mana from this haka surging through my body empowering my mind body and spirit. Proud to be Poly😤💪🏾
Polyamorous?
He means polynesian😂

I may be just a white guy, but the Maori culture is amazing and the Haka always gives me Goosebumps or chicken skin to others.
Just a white guy???? Where the fuck is your spine?

I admire so much the maori culture and the maori people, they are so proud of their roots! I wish some day we all be like them, in my country is the opposite (sad about that fact). Keep being yourself maori people!!
My mum was full, as I’m half cast but when I listen to this I feel it it hits you, it’s in your blood I love the history behind everything to do with it
My friend you are not half of anything, you are What you are.
If you are saying half Maori, you ARE Maori ….Aroha🤎
Maori are fierce AF. Cherokee war dance and chant is peaceful compared to this. Still, gotta have a lot of respect for Maori people. Much of the culture is preserved because of this. Wish I could say the same thing for Cherokee, because much of our culture has been Euro-washed. I’m thankful we still even have our language and dances.

That is the link to my school kapa haka group it's a bit long but yeah you may want to listen to it with headphones or something because it's kinda hard to hear sometimes... My school kapa haka group will be traveling to Japan next yr and performing at schools and festivals I think we were meant to go in 2019 to perform at the world cup but school from there requested that we go next year😊

Peace n love from aotearoa
As a woman who is also mixed with Cherokee, unfortunately you are right. But I definitely want to keep the fight on and teach people in anyway I can. I've also noticed how North Native American cultures overall still gets overlooked sometimes. Except when we're talking about Thanksgiving. Anyway, have a great day and keep fighting the good fight!❤ 👊🏽
As someone who has gone to NZ and been able to watch them sing and dance in person, it's absolutely breathtaking!!
I'm not even a Maori but I like listening to them and just like others I wanna participate in the haka
J'adore les maoris, surtout leur "Haka". J'espère leur rendre visite un jour. Merci.
What an impressive tradition, an honor to be allowed to listen
Díne from Navajo Nation in New Mexico loves your culture 100%
If man ever meets an alien race, the Maori should represent humankind.

Well if you do manage to come here for a visit, we'll be more than happy to host you and show you a good time (:
LIAN HALLER I thought I was the only person who knew about memrise xd
There are online courses you can take although I'm not sure how they apply to people outside of New Zealand. A lot of resources online and there are some tutorials on youtube.
Best place to learn our native language (Te Reo) is to come here and be taught directly by a Kaumatua (Maori elder). No online course can provide better authenticity. Also it would be a brilliant experience, I assure you.
I'm Maori and I'm happy about it.
I love this. Maori culture is so interesting to me! :)
Richard Bug this trolls been beat up by one lmao
In love with the Haka and maori culture😍😍😍 I feel the deepest of my soul revive when I hear the chants and watch Haka preformed 💗💗

Hello there, fellow Bornean.
respect to moari people from malaysia

I never lose touch with my Maori haka...I am proud kiwi half cast girl not full blood. My family are North Islanders. I am so proud of my family ....
Kiwi is a bird or name for the white pwoplw to identify away from us Maori
Stuff like this makes me really proud to be Maori, at least in part. Pretty epic stuff, my dudes
Oh, why in part?
Love the maori culture... it's so powerful
What a stunning and strikingly attractive Lady!
She was actually a kid in this picture, I believe she said her age was somewhere between 12-14 years on one of her TiKToK videos, I randomly stumbled across it when watching Māori clips a couple of months ago. She’s in her 20’s now and this picture was being spread and used without her permission
This literally brought me to tears respect for you guys
I'm part Maori and I still remember all these words from when I was a bit younger
This spoke to me..gave me a lot of strength and tears.
Respect your way..
German commander Erwin Rommel was even quoted as saying: "If I had to take hell, I would use the Australians to take it and the New Zealanders to hold it.
