These are the greatest invention for casual shade, shelter needs. I've been using these from a number of different manufacturers for 20+ years. From my experience, I'd offer a few suggestions:
1. Go 1/2 -1 inch further down the corner upright when setting the tarp on the frame. This will help avoid any low spots or bellies to collect rain water once it gets wet.
2. I've always left the tarp on the frame after folding and put it back in the bag. I'm not sure what the instructions recommend, but I've never had a problem doing this.
3. People will stand on the foot of the pole and lift up on the canopy to extend the legs. This puts undue strain on the cross pieces on the frame and in time will cause the cross pieces to crack where they cross each other and are bolted together. The frame is light enough to pick it up and simply pull the lower section out to extend the leg.
4. If the frame does get damaged (I've had several break, see 1. & 3. above 🤬) and you buy another (same brand/model), save the old one for parts.
I've since graduated to commercial grade canopies by a different brand. They are more expensive, but I use them a lot, so the extra cost justified. For me the benefits are the available custom wall options and individual replacement parts if something breaks. I will attest that since I went to these, nothing has broken. For the casual user, these are overkill.
The Vevor canopy you've featured is an excellent option at a very reasonable price (I paid that much for the same size and quality 20 years ago). For occasional use, I'd give it a thumbs up. 👍
