Were you said they needed more straps to hold it down, I agree. I do take the time to sew on some shoe laces to hold it down. Takes about a beer an a half to get it done. I leave it up for 3 months and get two to three years out of the top. Stephen
I ended up having to buy a new one, a very strong windstorm destroyed this one. But the top was still attached to the twisted-up frame.

Pretty decent canopy, especially for the price. The last one I did a review on was much more expensive but really not that much more sturdy.
Question- does the canopy cover have to be taken off to be packed up or can you leave it on, fold it up and put back in the carrier?
I would say that you would need to take it off since it could get pinched when folding the frame up which might cause a tear in it. It is pretty easy to put on and take off though.
I leave the top on and never had a problem. Make sure it's DRY when you put it away .
