This was awesome. Normally I'd have my father to explain this sort of thing, but I've been living and traveling alone so that's no longer an option. I'm extremely confident I'll be able to do this myself on my trip this weekend. Thank you!
Thank you so much I've been doing it wrong this whole time putting the legs up first and then trying to get the canopy to click in instead of doing the top first and then extending the legs
I wish I had seen this video before I bought the one I have from a different company. Their instructions had NO written words on it, just hieroglyphics. It showed four simple steps. We worked at it for some time before we gave up for a while to let the rage dissipate. Once we had our composure back, we tried without looking at the nonsense instructions. We made some progress but needed more help so I went online. Unfortunately, none of the videos had the same parts. For instance, we have none of the handy releases. Ours have little round balls that you have to push in which is somewhat painful. So after getting it up, we were going to take it down because I was done using it. Naturally, the thorough (sarcasm) instructions were no help. This is where your video came in. This structure was the closest to what we have. THANKS TO YOU, we were able to take it down before I folded it up and threw in the garbage bin!
I'm glad you like the video but I hope you aren't serious about throwing that away. If you weren't happy with it, I'm sure a local Boy Scout troop or civic organization could have put it to use.
@@SevenFortyOne Sometimes things build up to a point where rational behavior goes out the window. That is a great suggestion. I guess I was too dramatic. Have a GREAT day!
@@simoneskoien980 It's hard not to just consolidate it and put it in the dumpster. I hope you were able to get yours erected. It is nice once it's up but I was too tired after wrestling with it to do what I wanted to accomplish.
Thank you for this. I had someone put it up for me then it started to rain wind blowing hard. I needed to take it down. i was alone if it were not for your video, i would not have been able to take it down. Thank You!
Love those thing bc the wind takes them out and I retrieve the fabrics from the corner and use them on the pop out tops to keep sun off them and keep the ac in the camper. I also add a layer to keep dead air space inbetween. The fabrics are perfect size and the reflective fabric is better then oem canvas tops.
Clear as a bell, well spoken, thanks. I'm getting ready to some serious boondocking and I see you are a ham radio authority. As time permits I'll get into the videos. I have a question about ham radio. To what extent, if any, can I use ham radio as an emergency backup? Mostly camping in National Forests throughout the U.S., thank you.
Great video. Would have liked to have seen the end result, but otherwise very thorough and easy to follow. Question: how tall is the opening between two post sides given the awning looks like it comes down 6 to 12 inches. Curious if the back of my jeep wrangler could fit underneath?
I have one just like that except the storage bag is different. My storage bag does not have wheels and the opening is not at the top. My bag zipper runs the length of the bag and the carry handles are in the middle. Carry it like a hard guitar case. I think it makes it easier to get the tent in the bag than from the top, like in the video.
Thanks for the video, learned a few things on the set up. Just curious, but at times it is necessary to move the canopy around the camp site. Is there a way to do it with two people?
I'm interested in using this for something but the pyramid shape will exceed my height limit. Is it possible to remove the arms that protrude taller than the rest of the frame?
I can get it stretched out far enough that the upper lock on each leg is just below the locking button - -- but can't lift lock mechanism on the leg high enough to click it in! Just not strong enough? And/or, frame not stretched out far enough??
Looks easy to expand the frame on grass, it's not as easy on concrete or gravel. The frame slides back to center making it hard to put out the frame. I hope someone can do a video for one person set up on gravel or concrete. This video is very helpful otherwise.
I was happy to see a one-person video getting it done. I have to do this myself and this video has been very helpful!
Glad this was helpful!
Definitely helped me out.
I took it down in 5 minutes, before the heavy rain and winds came. Thanks!!

Thanks for the feedback!
Thank You so much! My brother was hesitant to lend it to me until he found your video. Lots of thanks!!
My E-Z up is ten years old, and I love it! Highly recommended!

Right there with you! I'm currently bleeding and yelling at my canopy!!!!!!!

How many times I would’ve loved to had one of these ! Pretty convenient. Good video 👍
Thank you, this was very useful. I was undecided about getting one of these but will most likely buy one now

What an awesome demonstration! Thanks! This was so helpful!

Excellent vid. Thank you from Detroit 🇺🇲
Thanks so much for your explanation. This is just the video I was looking for!
Thanks - this was so helpful. I never setup an EZ-Up and now I can. TY
Cool! Glad this helped!
Your instructions were very helpful. Thank you
Thanks a bunch 741! Awesome job. Very helpful!!!
Glad this helped!
Very helpful--thanks! You've got a little Seinfeld in you.
Some Adam Sandler, too.
Thank you for the demo. It helped me out a lot.
Great instructional i have 2 of these and it was a pain to put together lol thank you
Great instructional video! Thank you!
Precise and to the point!❤️💯
Nice. I would have liked to see how you went under the canopy and what it looked like fully extended.

Yes, you can use ham for emergencies. Extent will vary depending on lots of variables.
I'm a DJ and I finally picked the right pop up canopy, so I can finally use it for a DJ gig outdoors 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Very helpful. Good job!
lol, thx for sharing this, i actually broke a cheaper model cause i was clueless on how this worked, thx for sharing
Hey! Now we know what Jerry Seinfeld is doing with his time in retirement!
😂😂😂 I was thinking the same 😅
This video should be featured on Ez-Ups own channel!!! Tim in northern TN
Best explained video that I have seen 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Kudos for working diagonal corners !
Thanks and follow up. How did this canopy hold up. Is it rugged was a good in the wind? Is it waterproof, etc.
I've used it mostly camping and it has stayed waterproof so far.
Awesome
Pretty cool! Looks like a good one! Should last awhile...
Great video. Would have liked to have seen the end result, but otherwise very thorough and easy to follow. Question: how tall is the opening between two post sides given the awning looks like it comes down 6 to 12 inches. Curious if the back of my jeep wrangler could fit underneath?
I'm not sure, but you can probably find specs on the EZup site
Great video 📹 👍
Excellent video, thanks for sharing. Off to Dicks Sporting to pick one up.
U made that look sooo ez
Crazy!😂
nice travel piece.
Well done! 👏👏👏
If you put a stake in one foot it’s easier for one person setup
Do the leg fasteners lock at intermediate heights?
I think there are 3 levels. My wife and I are short so we use the lowest level

Ok so how is it holding up still…I am about to buy this for church activities
Good....I've used it for camping with my family and even a boy scout troop
Thank you very much. I'm going to try it on my own now.
Thanks for the video, learned a few things on the set up. Just curious, but at times it is necessary to move the canopy around the camp site. Is there a way to do it with two people?
If you've got two people you can pick it up at opposite corners and move it wherever you need to
Thanks for this
Very nice thank you
Thanks
thank you
I'm interested in using this for something but the pyramid shape will exceed my height limit. Is it possible to remove the arms that protrude taller than the rest of the frame?
No
Thanks so much
Those corner pieces look like plasic, if so thats the spot it might fail after a few years. Happened to a few folding item ive had.

Hard to say without being there to see what you are dealing with. The legs can be a little tough to extend so you may just need a little extra force
Yeah the sliding out doesn’t happen for mine.
Looks like the trick is to pull the legs down last
Um... he forgot to show the canopy tent in full display. Curious mistake.

I broke one of my elbows 😢
Thank you
Thanks so much
