Got everything prepped as you did, even bungeed back that wire harness. The original gaskets stuck to the cover, so I had to pry and pull them off with pliers. After everything was buttoned up, I had an engine light that coded for a camshaft position sensor. Driving it for a few miles remedied that. Thanx AnyThingAuto.
Not sure why the sensor. Maybe low oil? Maybe wires are old and crusty. Gonna be doing this next week but do I need to drain the oil. I have 2009 Dodge avenger I already replaced the wheel bearing 😅😅 I know little bit on vehicles but not Alot
No need to drain oil. Oil settles at the bottom due to gravity. Nothing up top. Is the plug gasket supposed to go down into the grooves all the way? I got them in there. But the rubber bumps on the gasket are keeping it from setting in the grooves all the way.
