This is day 14 of my journey to get to a rating of 2100 on chess.com. These 3 games were the most fun I've had in a while and I really think I'm improving!

Since you really like these attacking games, have you thought of possibly looking at some interesting gambits? Something like Nakmahanson or Urusov gambit are dubious but make for fun games
@@con2633 yeah I'd like to get into more gambity lines at some point! I guess I haven't decided to yet, but I'm very open to it

@ The etymology of Blunderbuss is even more interesting. It comes from 1650s Dutch Donderbuss, with Donder meaning Thunder. So don't fear to Blunder, bring the Thunder. You play much better when you have that kind of possitive attitude!

A couple of instances of your first thought being the actual best move and then you end up refuting yourself and going for something else. 😅 Happens to me a lot as well. Always hate seeing these moments in game review.
@@hmmm3210 yeah, but also several moments of a long think and finding better moves after thinking. It's all part of the game haha
