It's refreshing to see a gay short film that is not super depressive and overartistic. Moreover, I like the facts that it doesn't end with mutual love and that both of them respect each others sexual orientation. The acting is authentic, too. Well done!

Most people are not 100% gay, straight bi or any other way either. More people are feeling secure enough these days to say these things than ever before because sexuality can be fluid for most people and is also on a scale of attraction. Some people just don't get that reasoning and probably never will..... And they'll miss out on their true being because of it.

I never dreamed I would see a movie like this.
The exact same thing happened to me. Over a period of 12 yrs. I slowly fell in love with my best friend in college and grad school. The last 2 yrs. we were roommates. I had never been as close to someone as I was to him. He felt the same way. After graduating from the same class we moved back home to our parents houses but remained close. He met a young woman and I was best man at his wedding and even Godfather to his first son. All the while not saying a word about my love for him. I moved away because of work and have not spoken to him for 30 yrs. I've been happily married since. If I ever saw him again I wouldn't reveal my true feelings, though. I have fond memories of that time but carrying the heavy burden of love silently is something I would never repeat and would advise against.
