My favourite movie series. I am gay and went through 13 years of reparative therapy including electronic shock therapy. It did enormous damage. I can easily relate to the movies.

Such a beautiful scene. It is so well acted - so real. The entire trilogy is a treasure - a beautiful story so well written, beautifully acted. My favourite.
Just watched it again for the 100th time. Loved it will always be one of my favorites trilogy.
I don’t like the wife at all but you kinda feel bad for her because Chris was trying to be someone that he wasn’t & she was the innocent bystander but It’s like when she told Chris to come out to his family & he did & then someone asks how the wife is doing with this information it’s like she wanted to stay with Chris even though she knows he’s gay & in love with another person & not just another person a man..it’s like she didn’t care that she would be in a relationship with Chris when he’s in love with someone else.. Chris was like you have to let me go… Also it seemed like she was trying to manipulate Chris by saying your abandoning me & what about Kaylee… I was like lady he’s in love with RJ and he abandoned him…I would never stay with a man if he told me he is gay just because I will lose him…
How is she not the model woman? Exactly what would you expect her to say and do? It's admirable she wanted to stay with him. Would you applaud the pell-mell destruction of a thriving marriage in real life?

Chris really hated the way he treated RJ, I do love how he's apologetic and enjoyed the time they had together. His father was so wrong to control his life, RJ letters really were touching and heartwarming
I love this trilogy, well worth the watch.

Chris's statementts about the pain in his life struck me as so authentic. I also felt pain for Emily. It was deeply wrong to marry her without telling her about his past.
At first I couldn't believe it, but this scene of reconcilliation is beyond description in authenticity,
Chris should've known that he was treating RJ so wrong, thinking he made the biggest mistake of his life. But I was glad to see how Chris was apologetic and expressed his true feelings for him
