What non-drummers think is hard: playing loud and fast. What's actually hard: picking up the tambourine without it making a sound, rubbing the snares without sounding like you're hitting the head, keeping in the pocket so hard you're basically already quantized. Oh, and doing it all at the same time! You're killing it, man!

I’m a non drummer and I can’t even keep time with a metronome. So all this 👆is superhuman to me
I have watched this guy for a long time. And here’s what I have to say. I have seen him add his own twist to songs like thriller, in the end, ect. I’ve seen him play slipknot and avenged sevenfold one handed, I’ve seen him play dream theater to perfection. I’ve never seen this guy not put on a performance that hasn’t left me absolutely baffled. I wouldn’t say this if I didn’t mean it but I truly believe he is one of the best talents in the drumming world currently.

Dude… You match all the speed, musicality, and precision timing that fabricated/programmed drumming has to offer… which is unbelievably impressive on its own. But you’re doing everything those machines are doing, WITH a human heart-beat still audible throughout. For that, no amount of technical advancement will EVER be able to keep pace with you.
There’s good drumming… and there’s great drumming… and there’s the best drumming in the world… and then there’s this.
This is something else, entirely.
People are gonna look back through history at these videos and say: “That’s it, right there… That’s the point when the definition of a “drummer” changed.”
This isn’t just great drumming. It’s the testament to lots of practice, the body’s ability for precision and doing different extremely complex things at the same time.

Your videos sometimes remind me of when I was younger, practicing along to Hip Hop records and trying to play as many of the different sampled bits as I could manage while adding my own touches, pretending that the Beasties, PE, Wu-Tang, or someone would someday hire me. Of course, you manage most of what I couldn't, but still. Your drum covers bring back that joy for me in a way people trying to get everything note for note as the original drummer (or drum machine) played just can't. Thank you for sharing your fun.

The speed and crazy rolls/fills are of course so awesome but I love how in these covers you totally change up what arm or leg is doing what, not only doing the right hand hat/ride/cymbal, left hand snare stuff. So fun to watch

Also how long was spent composing and practicing?
He's probably busy, but I've heard at time it can take anywhere from 100-120 takes. He likely masters individual sections then pieces them all together. One of videos I know he said it took him 21 days to put it all together. Unsurprising for a master class like these performances.

Now I am starting to realize what he actually does for us!
Like all his stuff hits us like totally guards down slap to the face:
"WHAT?
HOW DOES HE DO THAT...?
OH THAT IS POSSIBLE...?
OH THATS HOW YOU DO IT...?"
And now comes the question, why drummers say that this wants to make them quit.
It is not that its not possible to learn more.
I really think that Siberiano makes us find out pretty quicly that all thou we thought that we like drumming and music and we still have passion....
But lets get real.
When was the last time when you were all by your self, drum kit or your instrument or your what ever you do and not giving a F to anything else and really with love and passion putting hours, days, months in and all the time being curious like a child and asking your self,
"Ok.. what else I could do with my instrument that I havent try before?
Something new, crazy and fun?
What if I do this, what if I do that?"
And actually just start practicing it?
All of his stuff came from just doing it, asking questions, no distractions and putting hours in with 100% efficiency.
So ansver is: we see him and we want to quit because it is quite clear that some point of our own journey, we got lost and now we are got used to this not so bad after all path but still... not complitely our own. Its more or less compromised.
It would take too much sacrifices to turn around some times. Some do it, some will not even consider it.
It is scary tought to really be a master of your own life and passions without anybody saying against it.
And that is one thing that Siberiano is doing with his videos, drums and skills.
Mastering the "my own life" like never before.
And that is the most hard part, fix your life, fix your daily routines and after all this comes the easiest part:
Just do what you love with passion and endless curiosity.
That I believe that hits us the most.
It would need fn David Goggins personally to get most of us back in the track. 😅

I genuinely think this guy is probably one of if not the greatest percussionist ever. You can’t even call him just a drummer cause it would be insulting he is much more then just a drummer he is a percussionist and an artist I believe some of the greatest to ever do it would be genuinely awe struck at your control over not just the drums but everything around you including your arms and legs.

Good lord. This guy plays drum machine engineered drum tracks live and better than the computer can program. It's literally unbelievable. I'm starting to believe the Estepario Siberiano is a robot theory.
Everyone used to tell me, 4/4 had certain hits you were allowed to play, but when I heard 4/4 I could hear so many openings, and I've never been more inspired to pick the sticks up again, you hit every hit I'm thinking that could be there, and I hear stuff you hit and its opening more up in my mind and it's great!!

I watch many drummers, some good, some great, and many, eh. While my favorite to listen to is Johnathan Moffett, my favorite UA-camr is right here. Unbelievably insanely great, but also extremely creative. While maybe one of the absolute overall top 5%, maybe even top 10 in the world when you take into consideration creativity, accuracy, dedication and talent. There are some I've seen just as good, but can't duplicate each take over and over exactly the same. This makes this guy one of the greatest.
Now, we just need some Skillet, maybe Montley Crew. Now some one handed Def Leppard I think would be fitting.
