- Liverpool and Manchester City produced another Premier League classic as they played out a pulsating 1-1 draw at Anfield.
Alexis Mac Allister's penalty cancelled out John Stones' opener as the Reds recovered from a slow start to deliver a rousing comeback.
Luis Díaz missed three glorious chances to give the Reds all three points, Jérémy Doku hit the post and Liverpool were controversially denied a stoppage time penalty when Doku's high boot caught Mac Allister. - Спорт
Feels bittersweet because on one hand we had more than enough chances to finish the game and not be debating that pen at the end but..... regardless, it was the most stonewall pen you'll ever see. I thought VAR was debating whether it's a red or not, can't believe it wasn't given.

Fantastic game of football! Two elite sides going head to head! Just imagine what we could have done with everyone fit and available, although the likes of Bradley and Quansah were brilliant as they have been all season. Disappointed not to get the win but i agree a draw isn't the worst result, especially with City and Arsenal going up against each other next! Up the reds! 💪🏼❤️

That red card was devastating for Mane and for us. It just almost ruined Mane the rest of the season. I will never forget it!
Feels like a loss, but considering all the injuries and being robbed I still have no idea how to feel about it. I think if city and arsenal draw whilst we keep winning I’ll be happier
Great game, Endo is boss ain't he? Mac allister was a steal for £35m, Van dijk is colossal, Quansah did well we dominated the second half and could've won, that was 100% a pen
What makes me laugh yes me missed lot’s of chance’s and I get that but as for VAR when it quite clearly shows Mac Allister had won the ball first then Daku follow maybe caught a bit of the ball yet Michael Oliver probably a City fan as he has done this before could also cost teams fighting relegation could go down if Oliver does not like another team and that team gets relegated and then the manager is sacked.
You look at how VAR did a slow motion of Curtis Jones winning the ball but his foot rolled over the ball and it looked nasty in slow motion, yet VAR only showed that one frame as the referee saw it on the screen. Total Joke but I have to give a massive shout out to Quansah and he and Van Dijk had Haaland and Foden in their back pockets.
What a find Quansah has been saving Liverpool millions in the transfer market then add Conor Bradley as well both not letting the team down, then Endo and Mac Allister what a dynamic pair these 2 are and Szoboszlai will come good because hand on heart he over tried at the start of the season and that caught up with him but Endo and Mac Allister just complimented each other.
Not bad for £52 million I would say. Let’s hope those missed chance’s may be saved for the Utd game in the FA Cup in the quarter final and that would be nice. Make no mistakes this Liverpool team mean business that is for sure and you can see the hunger and desire this squad is and that is frightening for years to come make no bones about that. YNWA
