Yeah but he didnt...and he had 2 or 3 golden opportunities to do so....
But he failed miserably in the big spot, which is becoming his usual. A more competent striker at least puts a shot on target. Diaz is to blame for dropping the points.
Feels like there's always someone that's not capitalizing on big opportunities. It was Darwin for the first several games, but Jota was kind of the stalwart. Hope Diaz can get a couple netted, he absolutely deserves it.

Even though this match was for sure of great significance in the title race and these teams are arch-rivals, it's just so heart-warming to see the human element as well. Jürgen and Pep hugging at the beginning, Szoboszlai and Haaland hugging and laughing with each other after it was over...
Regardless of the pen not given at the end, and a lot of missed chances, this was an incredible game, and we can be proud of these guys, they poured their souls into trying to win.

On TV I sometimes think to myself "Now run" or "how can you lose the ball now?", but with this camera you can see the speed and technique much better. Mac Allister and Endo were fantastic so were the rest of the Liverpool players. They played their hearts out so sad for the missed chances. Liverpool should have won, they were so dominant in the 2nd half. A bit disappointed though.

I came to see Szobó at the beginning of the season, but by now I am seriously infected with the Liverpool itself. Proud of the whole team. Went to Man City's channel as well and they are really happy with the draw..kind of proud of it... It speaks for itself.. Liverpool is not the most expensive team on earth, but without exception anybody can be and is proud if can make a draw on Enfield road.. Love it.❤️💪

felt for diaz there, he tried sooo hard to score, maybe too hard, but his dribbling skills are exceptional. he needs to feel the love from the kop, come on koppites give us a decent diaz chant and what can i say about endo and macca, unbelievably good. boss atmosphere there for a fantastic game. how come jurgen didnt do his fistpumps at the end ? strange one that.
Diaz was unplayable. Even though he missed a couple of chances, the City players are still having nightmares now. What a player. Endo and Mc were solid. The keeper didn't freeze on the big day. I could go through the whole team and give praise to them all. Good result to be fair. City had big chances too. The players have really stood up these last couple of months with the injuries we have. It's looking brighter every day. Great match played by 2 great teams.

Not enough comments about Harvey - the shift he put in 2nd half, his work rate off the ball, his fitness after the minutes he’s had to play the past few weeks. Every game I’m thinking Harvey will start on the bench or get subbed off to recover for the next game and he plays the full 90 (or more) and then he goes again next game. Big leap forward this season.

Endo and macca are really coming into their own absolute class
I travelled from Germany to London, from there with the train 5 hours to Liverpool to watch the game in a pub. I walked with the scousers to the arena in Anfield and bought a scarf. I made a video from outside the arena when ynwa was chanted. Then I walked to lime street again and to the pub where I planned to watch the game. Being the stupid idiot that I am, I wondered "huh? Game already started?" "huh? Already 0:1?" "what? 43rd minute??" Then I realized: I looked up the starting time on a german football website and Germany is one hour ahead. I hated myself, drank two lager and had 50 minutes which I will remember for the rest of my life. I was very disappointed for the result on my long way back to London, but it will remain an awesome memory.
