The design is a krumkake design from Norway. The krumkake is a very similar cookie to the Italian pizzelle but rent to be a little bit more flat and brittle.
Ohmygoodness! This recipe is wonderful. I borrowed my friend's pizzelle maker and the cookies came out perfectly from the first to the last one. I appreciate your tip using aluminum foil to make a cylinder. That way I could make it as large or small as I wanted. Thank you so much for your video. 💗💗
How big is the pizzelles cookie? I ask because I want the waffle cone maker, but this is so pretty, I wonder if its same size as the cone maker. I sure hope so. I would give me more things to use the Pizzelles machine for.
❤so glad I found this, been trying out some other recipes. I have a question. When you mixed the barter and showed the texture, it was quite runny, flowing, but when you spooned onto the griddle it appeared more like thick porridge, did that happen naturally, or which is preferred for best results? Thanks so much. 😊
@@scorneillie1 I don't freeze them, but I store them at room temperature, lightly covered. They should be good for a week. And fill them before serving, if you want them to be crispy 😉❤

Thank you!🤗💕I have made pizzelles a week in advance and they stay very crisp. I usually fill them with the cream filling the morning that I want to serve them. Of course, they won’t be as crisp as they are without the filling, but they aren’t soggy.

Thank you!🥰 They are really delicious 😋 I usually do them almost on every holidays and birthdays ☺ You can store them in the closed container without filling. Just fill them few hours before serving. They gone very fast😁🥰 Do you ask about Dolce de Leche?
@@shivie4 It's thicker than caramel. If you live in US, every grocery stores have it. Usually located next to condensed milk. If you don't have it, you can buy condensed milk and cook for 3 hours and you will get dolce de Leche 😉❤ I always do that 🥰
@@dilakkambarova2365 You might not have enough sugar in the batter or are cooking them a little longer than they should be. Try for a light golden brown.
Thank you , for responding back .... have you tried cannoli filling with the pizzelle and would they taste good. Cause the cookies itself are delicious
I'm not really a fan of cannoli, but these pizzelles taste really good even without filling. You can use any filling you want, but it is usually best to serve 2 hours after filling the pizzelles, because sometimes different fillings can make the pizzelles become soggy 1-2 days later.💕
@@cookstermomthank you for your reply .... it's good to know , I asked because the cannoli shells are hard to make and the pizzelle are easy and quick and wondered if it would be the same texture

For the ones who do not own such a device, can you bake them like pancakes and then fold them?
You can try it, but you have to work really fast to roll them🤗
can I make the filling ahead of time and if so how soon ahead of time
