Just wanted to ask, have you finished some univeristy in 3d graphic or some engineering? I feel it is impossible to create such things "at my own" without a proper knowledge that you luckily do have [in my opinion].
I forgot to mention that, to use the "X" key for Breakpoints. You must remove any shortcut key assigned to it.

faster to do it with the push pull without any plugin
i think pull and push faster than this menthod. we can create the step and copy over then group and scale the height, it takes 3 mins
