  • Join me on a visit to The Noguchi Museum in the Long Island City section of Queens, New York City. The tucked away museum was designed and created by the Japanese-American artist Isamu Noguchi and has a peaceful sculpture garden and a little museum shop.
Next to the beautiful sculptures you will find some architectural models, furniture and stage designs, as well as drawings displayed in the space.

I just visited the Noguchi Museum today 10/18/23, had been meaning to visit for several years now. It was a fantastic museum, I've always been into modernism/surrealism and
modern design, but also interested in Zen etc., and minimalism, so this was a must-visit. A very moving and tactile experience. I also adored the outdoor garden. My favorite
piece by far is the black obsidian or granite waterfall/fountain piece there. The shop is small, but very cool.

I’m so happy you finally got to visit the museum and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience on here :) I’m still in awe of the museum.
The waterfall sculpture in the garden was also one of my favourites :)

Sem dúvida é a arte ainda o nos representa melhor no estar nessa grande aldeia global . Vários povos, várias culturas mas uma só raça, a humana .

Are visitors allowed to touch the sculputures?

I know it is very tempting with the beautiful texture variations. Unfortunately visitors can't touch the art ;)

    Do they cost USD$ 100 Millions + like J Koons works ?

Depends on the pieces. The interior and museum shop items are more affordable ;)
