Very informative about the life of the great Je Tsongkhapa, and the conversation at the end about China and Xi Xinping was very interesting too. My heartfelt gratitude to Professor Thurman for the enlightening talk.
15.09HH Karmapa Thaye Dorji, White clad Dudjum Trulku of Bhutan, and alll the young modern Trulkus with wives should listen to this and introspect deeply.
the difference in times refers also to the relativity of information or the relationship of student and teacher, that of the Yidams and Yogins, that of Buddha and Buddha and Buddha, and non-dualism - enlightened ones go from one state to another as if not at all - the radiance of the meditational diety, the radiance of death as transformance into light
38:00 interesting - there are also jumps happenning within the evolution of consciousness due to changes within societal organization; firstly the rise of modern organized states with class strata hierarchies. For renaissance times, an increased capacity to trade goods and information and travel widely (correlated for example with the discovery of the americas around that time). There are other perspectives one can study in the context of the capacity for these ideas to spread and evolve consciousness. Of course this is potentially the argument of two sides of the same coin / e = mc^2 / like so much foam ….

Sorry, we didnt understand what you are trying to say. It is full of jargaon.
@@factspoken9062 yes, one needs to study the topic to understand what people say about it. Best of luck!
@@factspoken9062 "jargaon" is spelled "jargon" in English.
@@lindalane9496 How come I can understand everything Thurman says but not what you are saying. By the way Jargaon is my Jargon.

Some of this is pure legend..and can be attributed to flawed sectarianism that was rampant during the later years of tibetan monastic degeneration.
especially when dolgyal spirit emerged
Reading Thurman's book/ translation on Tsongkapa, interesting it says Tsongkapa had blue eyes. Rinpoches have also told me Buddha had blue eyes.
Is that what happened to you, you went nuts
