Abandoned Verplanck Quarry

Abandoned in the 1920s, this limestone quarry has crystal clear waters. These beautiful turquois waters are what draws people to dive off the abandoned buildings and cliffs. Sadly there was a death here in 2009, and as a result the area is heavily patrolled.
