Lightning Homepage Customization

Quarterly Performance :
This component is very limited in terms of configuration. The only thing you can configure is the goal amount. It can be used to monitor performance of a sales user in a report chart in terms of closed and open opportunities owned by logged in user or team with more than 70% probability as well as goal defined for them. The closed date is the current fiscal quarter. This component is not for you if your org is using a custom fiscal year.
Required permissions are Read access to the opportunity with proper sharing settings. ‘Amount’ and ‘probability’ fields on the opportunity must be visible to the users and they must have ‘Run report’ permission since this is a report component.
Assistant:
Assistant lists out the items or records that needs your users’ attention for the day. It includes any leads assigned to your users, opportunities owned by them with overdue tasks or any opportunity with no activity for more than 30 days. Users do require some permission to be able to see this on their homepage which are read permission on opportunity and lead object.
Top Deals :
As the name suggests, it shows all the top deals or top open opportunities owned by your sales user and if you have sales team enabled it also includes those opportunities. It categories top deals based on opportunity amount. So it does require access to opportunity object and read permission on amount field.

I would like to see the Related Lists component on the Standard Home Page. The Related Lists component is not available in the list to drag to the page. Can you provide me with the instructions that will allow me to add the Related Lists component to the Standard Home Page Component List in the App Builder? If components cannot be added to the Standard Home Page, could you instructl me how to achieve my goal of having available to me the Standard Home Page Components and the Related Lists Component (and possibly other components not listed) to place on my home page?

hi Neha, could you please comment how should I use the Filter By option when using a Report Chart component? I can't make this to show something different from "None". I am trying this in a Record Page. Thanks for your videos, very usefull!!

Hi,
Thank you !! It depends on the page you are trying to use the report chart on and what is the report showing. Like on Account page, it shows Account Id and parent Id. Which object are you trying to place your report chart on?

Thank you Pratima! Any idea why some reports won't surface on the homepage? I am having trouble getting campaign engagement reports (my Contacts engaged in Campaigns) to surface. A few I built specifically for the dashboard don't show in the search.

@@PratimaShri hi I’ve been a teacher for years. It’s very important that complex concepts are taught slowly. I’m a novice when it comes to SF but I know other things and I would never go that fast. A good teacher has patience and doesn’t mind taking their time.

@@jamestera5436 Of course I understand! As a matter of fact I have been a teacher as well before. I love explaining things step by step and don't mind slowing it down. I find that a lot of folks also get frustrated when things are explained too slowly, so its really a balancing act for me. I will be making a beginner video on some of the core topics since things also have changed since 2017 on SF.
