Clock Restoration

White painted tall case clock dial has severe crackling due to paint and incompatibility.

I would think of cleaning the dial like the Mona Lisa or any type of Picasso it should be done so you can see the colors in the breaststroke and stuff like that we clean the movement why not the guy or the case
