Faux concrete effect, the easy way

Awesome video as allways dude. I’m a scenic artist, tv and films, concrete i do too often , white, yellow ochre and raw umber, sufficient for mixing most required colours, (black and white mixed greys look too blue under natural light) maybe an olive green to add a little colour to the bottom edges

Thank you. Yes I agree, I didn't put brown in this mix and it could have suited better. But in real life it's not so blue, but the lights in the studio made it a bit too cold

Well your paint acts as a sealer, so you can put either first

Can I use entirely latex paints, or do you need to use the darker acrylic? Is it dark gray or black?

Up to you. Either will work. As long as you're mixing water-based paints together, they can be latex, emulsion, acrylic is all good. To the exception of specialty paints like waterbased-eggshells
