Love the snippet rolls, and as you really just used the stitching for decoration, it would be super easy to do that by hand or draw the stitch marks (for those of us without a machine) ❤️

I need to try snippet rolls. I think I'm always put off because everyone sews them and I don't have a sewing machine!! Lol. Will definitely have a go with just glue and playing around with my scraps

I love the way this turned out. I’ve only tried one snippet “strip” more than a roll. I think I really like this vertical direction vs horizontal, (especially when dealing mostly with paper snippets). Speaking of horizontal (you may know this trick already), but ever since I was taught to think about the horizon (such as when you’re at a beach) and how you look at it in a side to side (L to R or R to L ) motion or the horizon being wide and not up and down, then I haven’t had any more issues with horizontal and therefore no more with the vertical either. 😊 I Love watching your videos and yes m’am it is indeed most frustrating to not be able to find something that you just had! 🤦🏻♀️😫🤪 That’s why I also like your tidy Friday videos as well. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍🏻👍🏻

Hi Tina , I love these rolls so relaxing n easy , my son bought home a brand new big shot for me today.,n 2 different die cuts., I havnt been able to try it as yet , I can't get him off it lol , he said it's so easy to crank.the handle n its not heavy at all.,its grey n white., he won't get his hands on it once I get started.lol hope you are all.well.xx alanna

I have to try a snippet roll myself but a shorter version and different styles. If the wooden piece doesn't want to stick try using hot glue, I hot glue everything....lol.

I am just getting started with junk journaling. I hope this isn’t a stupid question but Isn’t a snippet roll essentially a strand of clusters that you just cut pieces off to use as basically clusters? I do realize that longer pieces can also become a belly band. I have no idea why but I have a much easier time doing snippet rolls than clusters so I am probably projecting my hope that I can stick with that!
Lol, yes you sort of summed it up! I guess the main difference is that your clusters are smaller, whereas when you cut your snippets, you can have multiple things going on all looking like one piece? Does that make sense? Not very good at explaining I’m afraid x

Yes, definitely drawn stitches would work brilliantly, I don’t think you need a machine, they look just as good glued x

This is a really good snippet roll tutorial. Love the random stitching at the end. I struggle with anything snippet unless it’s only fabric.
