It’s so strange Colette, I wouldn’t say Spirit of the Southwest is my cup of tea either, however, the more you stitch and reveal the design, the more I love it. The colors are beautiful and the piece is so interesting. Love your channel, diversity of projects, your wonderful sense of humor and kindness. Thank you for the time and effort you put into these enjoyable FlossTubes!
You are very welcome! Thanks so much for your kind comments. I really like making videos but when I’m in the middle of editing problems or uploading issues, it sure helps to remember sweet comments like yours! Spirit of the southwest is really growing on me. It’s on my May schedule because of being one of my original Stitch Maynia projects and I’m pretty happy about that. 💕💕💕
Your lace! So beautiful! 🤩 🤩🤩🤩. I do love your stitchy projects as well, especially the Southwest piece and the Friends piece. Enjoy your spring stitching. 😀
You sure got a lot done, Colette! Lace Maker is coming along so beautifully! So glad you have stuck with it. Thanks for popping on and sharing all your stitching with us. Particularly loved the quote today.
Hi Colette, Thank for always sharing your fabulous photos at the start of your video. I really enjoy seeing other scenes throughout the world. Love all of your pieces, especially the birdhouses. Your full coverage pieces are coming along nicely as well. Keep stitching and enjoying. Be blessed......Alberta from Southern, MD........ 😊😊😊
Hi Colette- I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your videos. Your stitching projects are lovely, the Lacemaker is stunning….truly beautiful. And I do not get the green gloves on Santa either! And your lacework is truly amazing! Much more intricate than making Xs on fabric….so intriguing to see all of the bobbins and pins involved in this process. Wow. Thank you for sharing your work and also the words of gratitude, truly wonderful.
Thank you!!! I really appreciate your comments. It’s fun to show what I’m working on but it helps when I get positive comments, especially when I’m in the middle of editing and uploading a video ( and grumbling about problem issues) Your kind words keep me going! 💕💕💕
Lovely stitching as always. Your beautiful photos made me homesick. I grew up in Northern California and the redwoods and ocean always bring peace to my soul. So thanks for the beauty in this day!
Thank you for all your inspiration ❤ you have alot stunning stitching and lacing! I have started the bird feeder Jardin Privet cuz of you, love it! Regards Gurli in Norway 🫶🌸🌷
Colette, you are just an amazing stitcher and lace maker. I love seeing everything you create. I have Lost No More, but I have been so afraid to start it for fear I will mess it up and it is one of my favorite pieces ever. Of course, yours looks beautiful. Enjoy your gardening and I will be looking forward to seeing you again soon. Take care.
Thanks Susan! I realized I had a lot to show already so that’s why I did a video two weeks later. As it is the length was still 50 minutes so it’s a good thing I did or I would have been having problems getting it uploaded! 💕💕💕
I was excited to see a new video from you, Colette. Thanks for showing everything. I really like the colors in that southwest piece - I may have to consider making a quilt with those colors!
I love the variety you work on, there is sure to be something there I love. The leopard is just stunning, I love it more than any other you showed even though I've never stitch anything similar. I agree with you on Santa's mitten, I've thought about stitching this one but I don't like the green mitten or the green sleigh but I'm no good at converting colors. You did a great job! New subscriber here.
So much already done on birdhouses ,wow! I am more a full coverage lover, thanks for moving along with lace maker. I also keep the most adorable part for last so I totally get your strategy on this WIP. Hope you'll keep working on it a least bit by bit. Have a great time stitching and with a family and with friends😊
Yes, I will definitely work on it every month a little at a time. I’m concentrating on lacemaker and Malificent and my seasonal montage full coverage. (Right now it’s spring montage) That’s about all I can work on along with the non full coverage I want to stitch too. Every little stitch brings the lacemaker more to life and I’ll eventually get there! 💕💕💕
Thank you for sharing your progress and especially the lace! I would love to stitch the friendship piece for my best friend. I will have to go back and watch to get the name of it. Also, thank you for sharing the pics of the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco skyline! I lived in the Bay Area almost my entire life before moving to Texas 7 years ago.
Hi! The Friendship Sampler is by Little Dove Designs. It is really a fun and easy stitch! And yes we had a wonderful time in Northern California! So beautiful! 💕💕💕
Thank you for keeping me company while I stitch. I always appreciate the beauty you create. Your lacing is stunning. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Didn't you make a different stocking for your husband with a cardinal on it? I enjoyed seeing your pictures at the start also. I am a fan of bridges and trees and your picture of all the trees took my breath away. Thank you!!
I'm with you on back stitching, and I don't like a lot of confetti. I do have one pattern, a Dimensions kit that, of course, has both and it's larger too. I've been looking at Lost No More for a little while, and every time I see it, I think I want to stitch it. It's the reasons just mentioned I haven't bought it yet. It looks nice though.
Great flosstube! The Embroideress is stunning and the birdhouse sal is so tempting. I lo e the bobbin lace making, so beautiful. It's on my bucket list to learn.
Thank you! Lace is so much fun! If you need help finding a teacher let me know, I was a regional rep for the National lace organization and I know lacemakers all over the states.
What a nice surprise today when you turned up on my notifications ! Beautiful progress on your wips. Your lace project looks so delicate. How pretty! I like Santa with the red glove. Great decision to change colors. Have a wonderful 2 weeks. ❤
Your Spirit of the Southwest is so beautiful even if it's not something that I'm typically drawn to either. The colors together are stunning. Your glove on Santa looks perfect and so much better than a green glove! You worked on so much!
Thanks Jennie! I’ve been enjoying Spirit of the Southwest lately and I’ll be stitching on it again for stitch maynia next month. See how much more gets done. And yes, no green gloves for Santa! Red all the way 😂
OMG Colette I guess I haven't seen how you do the lacing and WOW that looks awesome and making me think I could do it !!!!! HAHA The Southwest piece looks so lovely! I can see it better here than in our chat. Great progress on everything else! Happy stitching!🪡
Lacemaker is so confetti heavy I’m really afraid if I finish the lacemaking girl right now I will slip into a stitching funk and lose interest. I think my plan for now is to finish the whole left side of the house to the bottom of the piece first. Happy Stitching! 💕💕💕
Gosh, you have been productive the last couple of weeks! You kept me company while I was working on my Birdhouse SAL. I'm working on the big blue birdhouse with the red roof since I'm following in Brenda's footsteps (@handworkmaniac) and started with the upper border, then the October - December bits over on the right side, then popped over to the far left in January. I really like your modification of the 'odd duck'. But he sort of grew on me, TBH, and I'm not frogging him at this point! I've never done Maynia because I only have about a half dozen projects in progress at any one time. I get SO stressed if I have too many WiPs.
Hi Karla! Can’t believe it’s halfway thru the Birdhouse SAL already! I liked Brenda’s idea of stitching the season you are in but didn’t look forward to checking and counting to make sure I start in the right area and that it matches up right! Unfortunately the duck did not grow on me, it did the opposite 😂
I enjoyed watching your video today, as always. Thank you for your time and effort! I’m so glad you’re persevering with the Lacemaker. You’ve made great progress with it and it would be such a shame if it wasn’t finished. I’m looking forward to seeing your plans for Maynia!
Thanks Lynnette! I am definitely persevering with Lacemaker but will take a little different route than originally planned. I am going to work on the left side of the picture all the way to the bottom then go to the right and work on the lady doing her lace. I think I will like that as a change and can look forward to the lady after I finish the other side. 🙂💕
I like a lot the Friendship Sampler, but my favourite this time was the Spirit of Southwest, it looks great - of course I may bit a subjective, because I love backstitch , but it really is a joy to see those colours and those shapes. Happy stitching!

Everything looks so nice Colette. Including your lacing. You’re so talented. 🌷❤️💕🌸
Thank you for your kind words. Happy Stitching! 🌹🌸💐🌺
Love your progress on your wips. Happy stitching!
Hi Colette. Thank you for the update. Your pieces are really progressing! Love the photos you showed in this and the last video. ⚘️
Lovely stitching as always. Your beautiful photos made me homesick. I grew up in Northern California and the redwoods and ocean always bring peace to my soul. So thanks for the beauty in this day!
So glad I could brighten your day, it was a wonderful trip and of course I had to get lots of pictures! 💕💕💕
Thank you for all your inspiration ❤ you have alot stunning stitching and lacing! I have started the bird feeder Jardin Privet cuz of you, love it! Regards Gurli in Norway 🫶🌸🌷
Hi Gurli! I’m glad I enabled you with the Birdhouse pattern! Enjoy! 💕💕💕

Lacemaker is intense but I still love it!
Lost No More is a lot more manageable and a lovely piece to work on. If you start I’ll root you on!
😄👍💕
Hi Colette just wanted to let you know I received my kit and thank you so much. It’s going to be fun to stitch. Happy Stitching
Yay! Enjoy! 💕💕💕
Wonderful stitching. You get lots of progress each month. Your lace work is absolutely stunning. Thank you for sharing and happy stitching.
Thanks Susan!

Thank you so much for joining in! I am very much an eclectic stitcher so for those who like all types of patterns that’s me! 😄
The stitching is as always beautiful. I so enjoy you!
Thank you so much! 💕💕💕
Thank you for the video. The stitching is as always fantastic, and so is the bobbin lace. Thank you for sharing.

a symphony of friends is massive! i would have to order a box of the thread for the tree to be sure of the dye lot. it is beautiful
Yes, that is one big tree! And yes it is a beautiful piece, I love the colors! 💕💕💕
It is always nice to have an extra video from you. Your birdhouses are at the 50% point and looking good.
Can’t believe it is now the down hill side of the Birdhouses! Sometimes that white picket fence drives me crazy. It’s cute but time consuming!
💕💕💕
Nice progress! Thanks for sharing the pictures and your lace as well.

The Stocking with the Cardinal on that I finished is for me! So now I’m stitching on my husbands. 😄

I agree! Santa looks much better in red 😂
Beautiful stitches you really get a lot done in a month and your lace is stunning
Hi Colette! Your stitching is always so fun to see! Take care.

Oh my gosh, Colette, you are making great progress on the Lace maker. I'm so torn on thinking I would want to do it😮
Ha Ha! Yes, think about it carefully…..
OMG Colette I guess I haven't seen how you do the lacing and WOW that looks awesome and making me think I could do it !!!!! HAHA The Southwest piece looks so lovely! I can see it better here than in our chat. Great progress on everything else! Happy stitching!🪡
Hi Lisa! I think we can see any piece better than that Google Meet camera!
You have been busy stitching. Your wips are beautiful.
Thank you! 😊
I'm still new to full coverage, but man I get dodging the "I did the main thing, I'm done" trap! It's so much fun to see all your projects!

Totally agree about Santa’s hand…the red looks sooooooo much better!!
Very true! Thanks!
I like a lot the Friendship Sampler, but my favourite this time was the Spirit of Southwest, it looks great - of course I may bit a subjective, because I love backstitch , but it really is a joy to see those colours and those shapes. Happy stitching!
I agree, Southwest is really turning into a beautiful piece!
Glad you showed The Lacemaker, still my favorite. It is gorgeous. love Santa, totally agree with a red mitten. Birdhouses are great.
I sure need the support on lacemaker right now. Thanks!
Picture it FFO’d all framed it will be gorgeous. I do understand. I had one I hated by the time I finished but glad I did.
Your lacemaker piece is still my favourite!
The lace is beautiful, Colette. If there were teachers in my area, I would have to give it a go. Does your sister stitch and do lace too?
No, just me! But we love each other anyway! 😂
I’m always watching Colette even if I don’t comment!❤
lol! 🤗💕

I was trying to find your email. I have my picture of Castle Homecoming I can send you.
I would love to see it! My email is colettekingsley@mac.com Thks!

I just realized that too, glad I’m keeping up!
