Hi Colette love seeing your WIP's and your finish on your sampler. They're all beautiful. I finished my Heidelberg castle Sept 10th and will taking this to Michael's to have if framed and matted. Your sampler is just beautiful! I love the darker colors you chose. Great progress on the lace maker. The kitty drinking milk is such a sweet addition now. Beautiful band finish! I’m mostly monogamous too. I have Cherry Summer that I’m doing during the day and Treasure Island that I’m stitching at night after my son is in bed since it’s for him. Lacemaker is amazing! I don’t know that I could ever do full coverage. Wow! You have beautiful and fun stitching! 😊 Can’t wait to see your lace! I have 5 awesome sisters and I’m especially close to 2 of them. I have 3 brothers and I’m close to 1 of them. ❤

The scenery is so beautiful. I was able to get out and enjoy the mountains in my area with my son yesterday. We went rock rounding. Congrats on your finishes. I'm been kind of monogamous stitcher myself lately, mostly because I hurt my arm and can't work on any big projects. My arm has been feeling a little better the past couple of days so who knows. I have just one sibling, and she's the best sister ever. Congrats on your finish of your birthday sampler. And wow, lacemaker is really coming along. That kitty will be a darling detail. I'm with you on not liking hard lines in my full coverage pieces. I always worry about having that create a visible line in the finished work. Safe travels to CA! and have fun at the fair. I've demonstrated hand spinning wool before and the comments from the kids are a HOOT! My best one was a wide-eyed kid who told their dad, "Look, that lady is turning fluff into string!" Best descript of using a drop spindle EVER.....
