Thank you for your video, I will be going with gel dots, transfers would be fun but for my first PYO project for an event in four days, dots is the way to go, thanks again, I'm glad I found your channel

Thank you sooooo much for doing this video. I've always wanted to see a side by side comparison. I've previously only used the store bought pallets (sp?) and I did one on my own. For my own, I used a round sponge dipper into air brush color and onto the side of the PYO cookie. The colors were very vibrant, but it was time consuming (not difficult though) and the air brush color, applied in that manner, sort of ate away at the cookie surface. It is so much easier to do the store bought, but a bit more costly if you're watching your profit margin. I really like the M&M's idea. It looks vibrant enough, so I think I will try that next. Thanks Gabby! Love watching your show! Take care and stay safe.

Wow this information was just what I needed. I normally airbrush royal icing transfers but the Gel Dot is looking like my go to option as it looks 10x easier and faster. Thank You

I'm going to go back and watch part one, but I was wondering if you could just paint the corresponding colored gel on the candies, saving the time to make the royal icing dots? I love this video. So much great info. Thanks for doing all the hard work for us!!!

The Cookie Countess (if it is the US company) is one town over from where i live, about 15 minutes. 😀 this would be a fun, hands-on activity for the (not so) little ones. Great project!

Thanks for sharing the comparisons. I tried the gel but it never completely dried, so thanks for the cornstarch tip.

Had you considered doing one with airbrushing the royal icing transfers? I’d like to see that compared to the gel color because my gel colors never mix well with the alcohol 😕

I was hoping for one where the actual dots are made from very pigmented royal icing. I'll have to try that.

Thanks so much for all the hard work in showing us side by side comparisons! Did you use same brush for 1 cookie or different brush per color?
