Love Laughlin's Riverside resort, a whole bunch of different stuff there, watching the Casino boat shuttling people back and forth across the Colorado and the view is spectacular and the bridge to Bullhead AZ is right there (Built by Don Laughlin) you can't beat the place for a good time. RIP Don.

I think his legacy might be coming to an end. The town of Laughlin is not doing well in 2024 as a resort town. I go there twice a year to visit my Mom in Bullhead City and it looks like Laughlin is dying to me. The River Bell is closed with to plans to do anything to fix or replace it. Although most of the hotels have had their rooms completely remodeled...that was over 10 years ago and they hotels need to be remodeled again... but they are not doing it. I wouldn't be surprised to see more of the hotel casinos shut down. I think the damage was caused by the Tribal Casinos in Phoenix. People in Arizona would often go to Laughlin to gamble since it's only 4 hours away compared to a 6 hour drive to get to Vegas. But, now that Phoenix has their own casinos there's really no good reason to drive to Laughlin to gamble. Rest in Peace Mr. Laughlin
I had lunch with him and he was a nice and funny man !
I bet y'all have a nickname for that dude, 👉 "Radio." Cuz he acts like he's a radio announcer. 😆
