Your videos consistently don’t mention the time it takes to do the work shown. Thats invaluable information and will help a lot of people like myself with deciding on what to purchase.

again that would depends on settings and depth and size of the material your working with.. when i carve and emboss a slate coaster it can take depending on depth from an hour to 3 hours again depending on details and quality. but engraving normal things are a lot faster.. put it this way.. i carve stone by hand.. and the f1 ultra can carve something in 3 hours that would take me over 3 to 5 days to carve.. but for normal engraving and stuff its very fast.. its the embossing that takes the longest

My favorite spray is the minwax lacquer. I use it on most of my projects because they are smaller. Great video. Thanks! Wish the walnut worked better, it’s my favorite.

Awesome! Yeah, I definitely need to try it out on some more species and play around with the settings. Loads more possibilities I imagine.

    Very cool.
If my S1 ends up going places this year, I think I’m going to start setting aside profits for one of these. That embossing ability is amazing!

I still hope the 3D wood carving will be available for the regular F1 too

You can try sandblasting in lieu of pad sanding. Control the air pressure for delicate surfaces. There are miniature sandblasting nozzles, pretty much like an air brush

Do you still teach full time? I’m retired and I don’t know how you find the time to do all you do with a family. You are an energizer bunny. Great content!!!

Thank you so much! Yes, still full time teaching in a very busy season. I’ve definitely been burning the midnight oil. Fortunately, I’ve been able to run a lot of these projects while I’m hanging with the family. My boys really love working with the laser too.

I’m wondering if, after embossing, you could fill with a clear resin or epoxy to protect the depth,

This is a great video. It will add to my size were the small plaques that you made look like maybe 6 x 8?

I am assuming the maple you had good results with was hard maple. Thank you.
