I really wish bilingual (and even trilingual) education become common in the future. It could benefit the country so much. Why stop with Spanish when you do more such as Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Mandarin and the various NA languages such as Cherokee and Navajo. You can do so much with them.
The American education system is really tight money.
@@SuperRip7 I know, but that’s what they all say. Maybe there’s a way we can redistribute and redirect those funds to better causes such as a better language education.
I plan to eventually teach a bilingual Japanese and English class. Starting out, most of the students will probably be Judo and Karate students (and a few teachers of both).
Right now, I'm working on learning Japanese.

It's a language my god, all these uptight people crying cause they are mortified theres an effort to incorporate another language so they can enrich their child's cultural experience and ability. There is no official language of the united states. In Europe many people speak multiple languages and have a variety of positions with people of power because of it. It's not as if we are kicking out the english language. Its funny because I speak english and only english because of my own choice but I dont force others conform as I have. Jeez
Right, as a person that lives in a bilingual country, it is actually very cool, you are able to connect with many more cultures and people, also it is good for your brain health
Maybe not now, but the in future, working class Americans will still be looking for work for years since many schools at the time did not teach them Spanish. The Hispanics are discriminating English speakers.
@@SuperRip7 I think you probably mean discriminating again people who aren't fluent in Spanish. Being fluent in English doesn't stop a person from being or becoming fluent in Spanish.
Well, obviously discriminating against someone simply because they aren't fluent in Spanish isn't right, especially if they have one or more children to support, but that doesn't mean it won't happen.

I have being a bilingual teacher in Texas for 10 years and my students are so smart! I’m completely believe in the program, students love it 😍

Spanish is not a foreign language in the United States, it irritates me that it's considered a foreign language when over 40 million people speak Spanish in the US and it's been spoken in this country for over 500 years, some people are just downright ignorant

We did it to our daughter. We spoke to her in Polish and English since birth + English TV. We live in Poland. The situation totally artificial but it worked out. She" s 21 now and fully bilingual. The first five years are the most important.

I know 2 very well and 3 others enough to communicate. Learned 2 when i was a kid but not at school. The otger 3 after 15 years of age

I’m Hispanic but my kids are struggling thank god my 6 year old is in full English classes now she is making such good grades meanwhile my 5 year old is struggling to do her work in class we don’t use Spanish at the stores let’s all be real I disagree with this video they almost wanted my 6 year old to repeat kinder cuz of this bs! 😠😠😠😠😠 like I said I want my 5 year old in English class not bilingual she has proven that she doesn’t understand so why force it? Just because she’s Hispanic? I learned English since kindergarten in California we didn’t have this program but it’s causing a problem with my daughters but the principal doesn’t care so basically my kids are forced to learn Spanish I’m not ashamed of my race I love Spanish music bad bunny etc lol 😂 but come on now get real
I think the problem is that your child is slow
Its not obligatory to be in bilingual class take your slow children out of those classes and shut your piehole

I’m Hispanic but yes we need someone to take this out man I’m so angry for my kids they struggle so much man….they prefer English! They are forcing my kids to stay in bilingual
English is a Foreign language to these lands, therefore other languages can be taught here as well.

There way more languages, and cultures than our Latino Americans,...and this seems completely biased. Our national language is English in America, English and tbh it's not fair Americans have to learn a whole new language and education criteria just because we have illegal immigrants..

Right now, I'm learning Japanese. I don't think of it as "having" to learn Japanese. I'm BENEFITING from learning Japanese.

In my area in CA, Chinese is the major language in our San Gabriel valley schools & in the work place. Many English & Spanish speakers lost their jobs that many had for yrs due to this emphasis on bilingualism. Which now is not Spanish

Lol you said it but it wasnt much to say. There is no official language for the United States. I believe learning multiple languages is very useful not only cultural enriching but it pays a lot too. As a person that speaks only english I can see the value of speak a second language.

@@anntuxx6989 I speak 3 languages and want the option to learn a second language be completely optional. It should not be enforced on anyone. And if we are going to teach a second language, why not Hindi and Mandarin? Both China and India are emerging economies. None of the Spanish speaking countries have strong economies.

Yes but you have to remember that the founding of modern day united states wasn't just Englishman but French and Spanish as well with the Spanish landing and establishing the oldest city in America, St. Augustine, Fl respectfully.
The United States constitution allows all languages and cultures to be celebrated on this land which is what the founding fathers wanted a land for the people.
