@@danielskinner7603 well, prices have chanhed drastically at this point. I had a touch over 5k in the top end. Its closer to 10k now with all the upgrades. Car ia as reliable as any. Never gave an issue. Still have factory ac. Runs and drives all summer long
this is a 3400 lb raceweight car. the record setting 5th gens are much lighter. The NA record for the 5th gen is 9.3. If we are talking FI etc they have both been much faster than 9s
Does Circle-D make a 4000 stall to match up with the track attack cam? Also, have you guys ran a track attack cam in a 427 gen v LT1? If so what kind of dyno numbers? Thank you!
We have a custom-spec Circle D cam that we prefer to run with the Track Attack cam. As far as in a 427, it's probably not going to be enough cam - I would suggest getting a GPI Custom Cam, same price just would be better suited for your application.
Wait just curious i haven't heard many turn key packaged engin builds since the early 2000s when I saw UA-cam video of some Honda h23 VTEC na monster build with 300 horsepower was that yours as well? Wish i could find that video. That was back when i had my prelude.
This was first few passes on a brand new setup with very little weight reduction. Were we excited at how well it performed? Yes. Did it have more in it? Yes, after getting it dialed in it went on to become (and currently holds) the 6th Gen Camaro Stock Bottom End Record 👍 www.dragzine.com/news/brandon-hill-sets-n-a-stock-bottom-end-sixth-gen-camaro-record/
Gpi is where its at. Currently doing my max build on my 15 ss. Cant wait to feel the results. These guys know how to make camaros run
How much did it cost in the end and hows the reliability?

Gwatney Performance I figured on the custom cam, how would I get ahold of one of those? Should I just call you guys when I’m ready?
Just fill out our custom cam form and we will get you taken care of: gwatneyperformance.com/product/gpi-custom-cam-worksheet/

Maro for the win
Wonder what’s holding back the 6th gen to beat the 5th gen record. Its platform is supposedly lighter.
Angel Perez 5th gen récord is 8 second the 6th gen is far from that
Francisco Gallegos that’s what I said..
Tsp’s 6th gen just beat their 5th gen and their 5th gen held the record.
and in the end its time. 2-3 years into the cycle the 6gen is going much faster
Well said.
You guys tune my car Ryan is great. I had the bolt on record for like 5 minutes. Ran out of money lol. Gonna be getting your rear brake kit soon
This car GPI tuned??
Of course it is :)
Sweet! But... If there was "a lot more in it" ya'll wouldn't be excited and posting this. Right?
