There is also news about the potential of Fabio Quartararo joining Aprilia for 2025, after reports in Italy suggested that Aprilia have already approached the 2021 World Champion about next season.

    Riders have a limited career, he can't afford to waste anymore years with yamaha. Lots of young guns in the waiting.

    I hope so. It would shake things up. Otherwise he's just rotting there at Yamaha. The japanese are in such a weird place, it almost makes no sense to bust your ass to meet the expectations of the current rule set when they are just changing anyway... IMO leave the damn rules alone.

      If DORNA start pandering to the WEF and aim for sustainable fuels, it will spell the end of MotoGP. Fabio on an Aprilia would be good to see.

      The sustainable fuels are already here this year 40% of the fuel is from non fossil origin
      The technical rules always change, think it’s every four years always has been

    I hope Oliveira or Fernandez can find something to get them on the podium (simply because I'm an American who just bought my Aprilia dream bike).

    Great podcast gents!! Was waiting for the day when Fabio Q starts talks with other teams. He really deserves a better stead than what Yamaha is offering him. Will be smooth if somehow Aleix retires and Fabio gets in his position at Aprilia. Let us wait and watch…
    My instant parallel thought will be that Jorge will also be there in the market hunting for the same spot at Aprilia. It is definitely gonna be interesting.
    Need your views on this guys…

      Why would Jorge leave the Rocketship that is any of the DUCATI'S for a ride at Aprilia..?

    JM89 to Factory Yamaha, with Rins,
    FQ20 to Factory Aprilia, with MO88,
    BB33 and PA31 in Factory KTM
    MV12 to Repsol Honda?
    Likely? Ita 2nd GP weekend and the silly season has begun already.. phew..

      No way Martin will go to Yamaha being probably the hottest rider in MotoGP atm, so I see him either taking Miller's seat who's not going to be in MotoGP next year or Aleix's.

      ​@@Terraceview I doubt KTM are looking at other riders. If Acosta does half as well as he did in the first race he's getting the other orange bike.
      So for a halfway competitive bike it's Aprilia or stay at Pramac.
      Also Ducati are looking to cut their budget for next year so doubt they're going to pay Martin what he thinks he's worth. Add the fact they're bringing in Aldeguer to Pramac, expect whoever has the second red seat to only have a 1 year contract, so they can slide Fermin in if he does good.

    My lineup for Factory Aprilia would be Martin and Enea/Fabio.

    I don't know why KTM and Aprilia aren't going hard on Riders Market especially Aprilia... Are they still on building mode... I know KTM signed Pedro last year but they still need more good riders, I know binder is good race winner not championship winner... What are Aprilia doing? till now I was 100% sure Aprilia was going to sign Aldaguer as A Espargaro was very close to Aldaguer... Nor Espargaro neither Vinales are going to give them championship... It looks like they are still on building mode... They need championship winning riders...

    Fabio should move soon if he wants to break the mould caused by riding an inline 4 for years,,, most modern riders seem to struggle jumping from 1 engine configuration to another since the series went back to 1000cc in 2012..
    Vinalez stayed on inlines until 2 years ago and still struggles,
    Mir struggling to ride a V4,, Rins stayed on inlines and has gone back,,,, Rossi struggled on the V4 Ducati and went back to inline,,even though he won on everything else except a V4... Lorenzo took a long time to win a few races on a V4...
    Alex the same,,...
    Martin will struggle on an inline 4...

    Fabio Quartararo has complained about the rear end of the Yamaha. It's the hardest thing to understand. If Fabio went to Aprilia I am sure he would prosper not only because he is the best rider but also because Aprilia has an excellent package. He would make it scream. Fabio would be suited to the Aprilia.

    It's not right that Ducati have 8 bikes on the grid.. its too much like a ducati cup..
    Why let 1 manufacturer have twice as many bikes on the grid as other teams,,, KTM were denied a fifth bike for Paco...
    I'm a motogp fan with 25 years and it's annoying to see a ducati having 8 bikes in the top ten every weekend,,
    They have an unfair amount of data, double the amount of feed back,,, tyre telemetry, using Ducati "magneti marranellie" control ECUs and electronics,, ferrari wind tunnels and ero simulation,,,
    And claimed that they are only a small company 😅😅..
    I do thing that Espelleta and Dorna have tried to Europianise motogp and try push for a demostic market for bike sales,,, The Japanese are loosing all European sponsors and Japanese parts are targeted too. European tires,suspension,electronics, wheels,engineers, riders,
    Moto2,European engines,tyres,
    Moto3 is being walked down the same path..

      For someone that’s been a fan for 25 years, you need to go and do a bit of reading up on the rules
      The reason there are 8 Ducati’s is because satellite teams want to lease them because they’re the best and Ducati will supply them

    I think it will prove very interesting to see how both HONDA and YAMAHA do this season after going from the front of the Grid all the way to the midfield or even worse after so many years of success. Did Suzuki read the Tea Leaves earlier..? 🤔

    The Ducati GP24 is looking so strong, they have made some obvious gains over the 23, in particular the acceleration of the corners. MM93 and other GP23 riders are going to find it very tough as the season matures.

    Hope Quartararo goes to Aprillia. Can Yamaha realistically keep up with the V4 manufacturers now? Unfortunately , it doesnt seem so,

    Fabio will most likely retain Yamaha seat. Its inevitable that Yamaha and Honda will have a strong last half of 2024. In 2020 Yamaha "cheated" by tweaking their engine specs and completely dominated until they were caught, this year they can do the same, only it will be within the rules

    Viñales and Aleix are good tandem in Aprilia. Fabio doesn't deserve a factory bike in Aprilia maybe in trackhouse.

    Quartararo to Aprilia, can see that happening! Aldeguer in MotoGP will be good, but he’s got to adapt to Pirelli in moto2 first 🫣

      That was the whole point of bringing in the Pirelli tyres they are known to degrade as the race goes on unlike y he Dunlops
      And it’s proved right different guys in the mix

      KTM won’t be getting rid of Binder, and Pedro is the rider every team want.
      2025, Binder, Acosta will be KTMs Factory riders

      @ianjohnson1207 Yes they want Pedro in factory KTM bike,But we don't see win from Binder since 2021 Yes they testing parts they can't find excuse about that Aprilia have 2 wins last year they lost in constructos against KTM because durability.Binder give hope 2 races in 2023 Jerez and Thailand,But Martin perform really well than Binder.I hope he gonna be better this year. Where you see Martin can go? Aprilia? People speculate about Quartaro to join in Aprilia factory team,Everythind is possible. (I'm not against you).

    in that picture of the ducati, it has no front disc. is the wheel rim used as the disc like on a push bike?

      They use a transport wheel on the bike in the pit lane when warming it up etc. That’s why there isn’t a brake disc in it!
